    Things I liked:

It's very accurate and easy to use.

    Things I would have changed:

Forget the wood stock and go with the plastic one. It's pretty until you hold it. You can damage the wood by lightly pressing your fingernail into it its so soft. I put a coat of polyurethane on mine which has helped a little but not much.

    What others should know:

Pyramydair sold me a 3 year old model. The air tanks have a 10 year shelf life. I was pretty annoyed about that. If this was a more expensive airgun I would have been pretty mad. My first experience buying from them. I'll try buying pellets from them and see how that goes but I can't see purchasing another airgun in the future.

    Things I liked:

I like it for its light weight and accuracy. I have only got to shoot one so far but I like the way it handles and it don't take long to fill it back up. After doing a little tuning it's powerful.it will work very good for what I bought it for.

    Things I would have changed:

It's not a deal breaker but it would be nice if it had a side swing out bolt like the synthetic has.

    What others should know:

If you want a short light weight gun that's got enough power for critters you won't go wrong with this gun. I got the 25 cal .may get the 22 cal later on.

    Things I liked:

Build quality, power and accuracy are all fantastic. Incredibly easy to hold steady due to the compact design. Very happy I ordered the 10 shots for $10 especially after getting screwed by Amazon who sold 2 used defective guns as new. Lesson learned.

    Things I would have changed:

The 22 cal is louder than I thought it would be out of the box but it was shooting just under the speed of sound, tuned it down and it's quieter now. The magazine wobbles when it's installed but just being picky.

    What others should know:

Get the 10 for 10, well worth it. This thing packs a heck of a punch.

    Things I liked:

Oh wow, where to begin! I'm NO stranger to projectile weapons, owning everything from flintlocks to precision rifles. I'm VERY IMPRESSED with my Flashpup! Fit & finish are great, balance is flawless, accuracy is, for an airgun, superb (compared to my Anschutz 1847 Fortner bolt Biathlon rifle, which gets one hole in the paper at 50M, it's not as accurate). At 50M, I can expect a 3/4 inch group, maybe a little better depending on the charge. When you compare the Flashpup to the Anschutz, the 1847 cost almost $4,000, and the Flashpup is not quite as accurate. IF you cut the distance in half, I'd say, as a competition shooter for years, yes, it's in the ballpark. Not quite as accurate, but the Flashpup will hold her own! In terms of quality, the trigger on the Flashpup is comparable to my Anschutz, the wood stock is fantastic, balance is superb, accuracy is great, the gun's quiet and a joy to shoot. If you're thinking of getting one, DO IT!!

    Things I would have changed:

I'd lose the bipod rail, and add some studs for a sling. Also extend the bolt handle and make it a little larger, along with adding spacers to extend the stock, to change the LOP. It's a little short for me.

    What others should know:

If you're thinking of getting one, I wouldn't hesitate! Great little bullpup design, accurate as all get-out, and it can be filled with a floor pump. it's a workout for an old guy like me (74), but it sure does fill!

    Things I liked:

I was super impressed with the feel of this little rifle. Despite it feeling like a sturdy, solid chunk of wood, most of the weight sits on your shoulder. It's light as a feather up front and feels phenomenal in the hands. As for the fit and finish, the wood is quite soft, so the finish is going to very easily scratch and scuff. There were a few places where the stock could have used some touchups before being sent out by Hatsan, like sloppy gluing around the buttpad and poor sanding around the wooden trigger guard. Overall, for the price, the finish was totally fine by me. Looks sharp and feels great in the hands. Very quiet, too. It's absolutely backyard friendly, and it's hand pump friendly as well. Using a hand pump to take it from the yellow back into the green only took five minutes or so. One other thing - the pressure gauge is readable from the side of the gun. This is smart design, because nothing makes a gun guy queasier than staring down a barrel. The trigger was stellar!

    Things I would have changed:

The placement of the bolt is terrible, and the two FlashPups I went through were very stiff. The first felt like someone had poured a cup of sand in the internals and threw it in the box. I'm sure it would have cleaned up just fine, but I didn't want to chance voiding the warranty in the first few days before any major problems might have showed up. The fill port has a small plug that's used to keep dust and debris from getting in the tank, but it's a cheap plastic dowel with an o-ring in the center. It is not attached to the gun, and it would be easy to lose. You'll also need an adapter to connect your pump to the gun. Note that the Hatsan fill probe is NOT NPT threaded. PA has an AirVenturi adapter available (currently), or find one elsewhere. It's a 1/8" BSPP Female to 8mm Male QD. The rifle desperately needs sling swivels. I'd like to see it regulated. These also desperately need some quality control with their barrels and/or optics rails, but more on that below.

    What others should know:

I went through two of these. The first was stacking even the Crosman Premiere HPs at ~20yd from a bench rest. Some heavier H&N Barracudas performed even better. Trouble was, with an optically centered scope at that distance, I was hitting 5.5" to the right. I ran out of adjustment on two scopes trying to get it zeroed. Big disappointment, because the trigger on it was right up there with a custom match trigger I have in my .308. That FlashPup was returned, and the second one arrived a week later. The action was much smoother, but the trigger was mushy. PA also neglected to do the 10-for-10 test on it that I'd paid for on the first one. This one was hitting only 3.5" right at ~20yd, and it took a full 1 1/4 rotations on the windage turret of my Hawke to get it to zero. Unfortunately, while it was fairly accurate, it was not precise. The 21gr Barracudas performed best out of it with a 1" group at 20 yards from the bench. 5 MOA makes this a plinker, but not a dependable hunting setup.

    Things I liked:

I waited to do the review so I can test the gun. It's a .177cal and its a great little gun very accurate with JSB Exact Beast Diabolo 16.20 gr. It's shoots the JSB Hades 10.34 gr pretty good but not like the Beast. I get 4 magazines out of one tank of air so about 56 shots not bad.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

    Great gun for the price.

    Things I liked:

This is a pretty quiet gun even for its type. Hearing protection is simply not needed and you aren't going to bother the neighbors. The bullpup design makes for a nice handling gun without sacrificing the benefits of a true rifle length barrel. I've heard bad things about the triggers on bullpup designs but this one is pretty good and compares favorably with the hatsan flash QE that I also own. Accuracy is good although not quite up to my old FlashQE. (That might be the scope or just the fact that I've spent more time with the older rifle.) In any case the flashpupQE will hit a 2 inch circle at 100 yards very consistently using crosman hollow points which I consider quite good.

    Things I would have changed:

The downside to a bullpup design of course is that the bolt action is back next to your ear. This might be ok if the action wasn't incredibly heavy and gritty and... well it needs work. The drill for me involves bringing the rifle off my shoulder, and bracing it against my hip while yanking back the bolt and working the lever down to be sure it indexes, before pushing it forward to seat the next pellet. Hatsan talks about 'using proper lubrication' but gives little or no information about how to lube anything and certainly gives no idea about how to disassemble the action to lube or generally smooth things out even if such a thing might be possible. Also the length of pull is pretty short IMO for an adult. I may end up adding a pad from an old shotgun or such to make the stock an inch or so longer.

    What others should know:

Customer support from Hatsan is notoriously bad, which is sad because they make great guns. On the other hand, the support , at least so far for me, from PyramydAir is very good. They keep you well informed of your order status including shipping details in a process that really is user-friendly. Last detail. You can use this gun using only a hand pump but be aware that the 150 plus pumps to get up near 400psi is a serious workout. If you get a small high-pressure electric pump/compressor to refill you will get a LOT more use out of the gun.

    Things I liked:

Absolutely Beautiful Airgun! I am no expert but this gun right out the box looks awesome! I purchase quite a few varieties of low to mid range pistols and air rifles. This is my 3rd PCP rifle and my first bull pup. This is my first wooden stock, it will not be my last ! I look forward one day to upgrade to higher priced guns as I am able to afford them . The Beeman QE allows you to feel like you own one of the higher models based on what it has to present.I have not tested mine yet for accuracy at the time of this review. I did not want to miss out on the opportunity to talk about how great this gun looks and feels in the hand. Nice!

    Things I would have changed:

The reason I could not talk about the accuracy of this gun is due to having to purchase a quick disconnect fitting 1/8 thread BSPP for the fill probe that comes with the purchase. I did not have a fitting that would match with fittings that came with my PCP hand pump. I set my gun up with a new scope and bipod ready to shoot, but was unable to due to this part. I am sure that Hatsan probably does this for there newer model PCP versions. If not, Hatsan please provide one that is ready to go out the box!

    What others should know:

Be careful with how you handle the wood on the stock. It will scratch quite easily. Otherwise it is a very good choice for a first PCP. I Just got the fitting I ordered got my gun, now I am ready to shoot it! file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/58/08/3A5DD754-63AB-436E-B106-66984460413E/IMG_3654.HEIC

Accuracy, Ergonomics while shooting, Trigger is good, Scope rail is good height, Quiet, Powerful

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine fits very loose. The wood stock isn't quite as nice as I expected. Cocking position accentuates the heavy pull on the lever, so lighter pull would be nice.

    What others should know:

Great gun, with really good accuracy and a nice hard punch. Fits in a short AR case. Make sure you get a quality optic, it makes the experience so much better.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy-there multiple pellets that my rifle likes. Not just one name brand or even weight. Pellet rifles came along way since I have been a kid.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt- it is a little tougher than it should be and awkward in chambering. But I wanted the wood stock and it only comes with the bolt. The synthetic stock comes with a side lever and after watching multiple videos it totally eliminated that problem.

    What others should know:

This brought the kid back out in me. At 48 years old and buying my first pellet gun in I dont know how many years. This is just fun! There so many options out there of pellets. Im definitely a boy again. Lol

    Things I liked:

First PCP and definitely a budget friendly gun. Good workout but it can be filled with a hand pump. Purchased the .25 caliber, added scope, and sighted in quickly with good groups. Added a bipod because, why not?

    Things I would have changed:

This thing is a BEAST to cock with tiny side bolt just big enough for one finger. Maybe it will be easier over time but my initial set of magazines were more work out than hand pump. The synthetic has side lever cocking but was not available when I made my purchase...save finger and go with the syn model.

    What others should know:

    1. Buy the 10 for 10 "insurance" from Pyramid so you know the gun is tested before shipping. 2. Wood stock is nice but fairly soft so it dents/scratches easily.

Lightweight, powerful, easy to fill even with a hand pump, 10 shot magazine in .25 is great, very accurate for a bullpup.

    Things I would have changed:

Needs sling studs/swivels, would be nice if it came with the male quick adapter instead of a foster fitting.

    What others should know:

Great gun for the money. This is my second pcp after my entry level one bit the dust. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid gun in the $400 price area.

It looks good. Feels good. Handles well. Forward mounting optics aids in the ability to adjust to your to your vision. i.e. bifocals

    Things I would have changed:

Side lever cocking, same as the synthetic model. Which I had previously, and preferred.

    What others should know:

Mags didn't fit, ( Barrel threaded in too far ? ). Mouth of barrel / feed appeared unfinished. No consistency in shots, dumped 50# pressure w/ one mag. Left me questioning " quality control ". Previous to this model, I had purchased the syn. I could not have been happier. In less than 2 wks. The air seal failed, dumping a full charge, unable to recharge. Accepted this one in exchange. Didn't work out. Waiting for replacement at this time. Now that they are available. same style synthetic. Pyramyd Air will take care of you. I have had a perplexing yet well managed experience.

    Things I liked:

I like the size weight and form of the rifle

    Things I would have changed:

Much better quality control. I ordered one and went through 4 replacements with two different supplier and did not get one that would fill after the first fill. I have called Hatsan but they do not answer their phone. I wrote them a couple of times with no reply. To bad I have a .25 wood Flashpup that is great. Thats why I wanted one in .22. Went to GTA and asked and although I got help nothing works. I would have bought more Hatsan but not now. If you cant get them to answer their phone nor their emails forget about parts or any customer service. Not good

    What others should know:

Like I said I really wanted the .22 Flashpup wood to work. Remember I tried two suppliers and they all had problems. Poor or nonexistent quality control.

    Things I liked:

It's a good light weight compact rifle with good balance . Easily can carry in the woods for hours . I'm getting around 1/2 -1 inch groups at 50yards with hunting .25 pellets. It's really quiet this is only my 3rd pcp . But I was amazed by it my benjamin .25 marauder and disco .22 are much louder than this .

    Things I would have changed:

I wish hatsan sent a 1 piece fill probe. Not a male fill probe and you buy the other half. I'm aware they are available just saying. I wish this had European side cocking lever . Instead bolt at the rear. I know it saves money but I'd paid extra for it on this gun .

    What others should know:

You can't beat the price . For what your getting. It's to me more a hunting pcp than target .but it's very accurate.

    Things I liked:

Once the scope is zeroed in, it shoots well. No issues with pests, no leaking, owned the rifle for one season, this is my second season. I can shoot two to three full 14 shot magazines with one tank of air, depends on the pellets. I use Exact Monsters and Exact Diabolos. Easy to maintain.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't know much about air rifles, this is only my second one, but if the overall weight could be reduced it would make the flashpup a fantastic gun. The wood does dent very easily.

    What others should know:

Just keep shooting, zero your scope. Some bumps do affect the scope, so zero it once every few weeks.
