Things I liked:

EXTREEMLY accurate and powerful.Almost too much power for a .22 air.

Things I would have changed:

The weight... It is real nice piece of kit... but, dang its heavy. If your not a big fella, its kinda hard to aim standing up w/ no support.

What others should know:

Its heavy, kinda loud too, Oh, and it's hard to cock..... But you gotta love the accuracy.

Value for the money couldn't be better, beautiful stock and overall appearance

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not sure I would change anything

    What others should know:

A bit heavy, not a youth gun

    Things I liked:

Nice wood. Shoots hard and with some adjusting sights in okay. Cocking effort moderate, but not hard. Nice bluing. Good saftey catch. For the money you get a pretty nice rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Takes a little more time to safely load and shoot due to saftey catch, but worth the time. Better time than fingers.

    Things I liked:

The over all appearance of the gun is beautiful, It has a very smooth trigger and is a very accurate powerful gun

    Things I would have changed:

It is a little on the heavy side, would not make a good youth gun

    What others should know:

I don't think there is a better under lever gun for the price

    Things I liked:

Fixed barrel. Nice wood stock. The $80 price for a used one. It came without a discard scope, so I can add what I like.

    Things I would have changed:

This was a PA closeout, and I bought it as a project gun to fix up. I will be changing it over to a Nitro Piston, which I had to order direct from Crosman.

    What others should know:

I ordered a new one, and got a used one in error. PA cust. ser. has been outstanding in taking care of this. I'm keeping the used one. Can I make a tack driver from an inexpensive airgun? Stay tuned, I will update this review. So far, I have found the best pellet is RWS Diabolo Basic, but the groups are still nickel sized at 10m. I'm hoping the Nitro Piston will improve that. It made a big improvement to my Gamo Whisper.

    Things I liked:

I love this rifle. It is a heavy beast for a .177 but after you zero your scope you just don't care. It is accurate as all get out. The stock has a great feel to it. The scope pad is a great feature. The trigger has a 'set, go' feel to it that I like a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not much.

    What others should know:

    It is a heavy gun.

A beautifully made gun. It's big and heavy, but it feels very good to shoot. Underlever is smooth and effort is minimal for the fps. The price for this gun is really a steal.

    Things I would have changed:

For this price, I wouldn't change a thing.

This air gun is accurate.Penny size groups with crosman hp and rws hp at 20 yards.Nice looking stock. Great gun for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is not very good. The gun is big and heavy. The scope stop is no good.I modified an RWS 460 mount for mine.Fix the trigger, scope stop(and mount)and trim down the weight and this is a top notch gun.

    What others should know:

I've had this gun a year now.Shoots rws hp's at around 800fps. I've got used to the trigger. It is loud compared to a tx200.When compared to a $600 gun,you see the flaws. But for the price, it's a great gun.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is quite good. I added a Leapers 4-12x40 scope, and I can consistantly hit a soda can from 150 feet away. The stock is very nice looking, and it just looks nice and beefy. At first glance, this gun looks like a 30-06 rifle because of its raw size. Overall, this is a really nice air gun for the money! Recommended!

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is very heavy, so unless you are using a bipod or a rest of some kind, it will wear you out after a few shots. Not really a complaint, but it would be nice if it were a tad lighter for those days that you want to plink around a lot, or carry it around in the woods.

    Things I liked:

It has good power and will shoot through .040 aluminum . My HW97K will not, so it has more power than that German gun. Although you can tell it doesn't have the build quality of a German gun, it has the best iron sights I have seen, and is quite accurate. I think it will last a long time, judging from the simple design.

Great accuracy and power. Got mine in.22cal. Shooting dime sized five shot groups @ 21yds using Crosman Premiers 14.3gr and H & N Hollow Points 12.65gr from a rest.

    Things I would have changed:

A better trigger should improve accuracy and the scope stop needs to be replaced with something more permanent. My choice would be for a Weaver type scope rail to cope with the recoil.

    What others should know:

The scope stop does not work. I bought a Leapers droop compensating adapter to mount my scope which fixed the problem. A great bargin for $189.00

    Things I liked:

Very heavy which really helps dampen the recoil. Accuracy is pretty good with the right technique. I'm shooting 1 1/2 inch groups at 60 yards using h+n barricuda 21gr. pellets. Very satisfied with the overall build quality of the rifle really feels like a much more expensive gun, great value.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be interesting if they had this model with a nitro piston.

    What others should know:

This gun works best when rested so keep that in mind and invest in a tri-pod or start working out if you want to shoot off hand.

    Things I liked:

Mine is a .22. Once broken in the firing cycle has become ever more smooth, and the recoil less harsh (not that it was bad, but certainly had a kick), and cocking it is less a chore than when new. Metal fit and finish is very good, but the stock's color I'm not in love with, though I don't mind it. The trigger is very good, and can be adjusted to a "hair".

    Things I would have changed:

The finish of the stock. Though it's very even , the color is not exactly me. Also, deepen the checkering to facilitate a better gripping surface. A pre-drilled receiver for a stop pin would be nice. Lose that scope stop.

    What others should know:

Mine smoked through about 700 rounds before settling down. It gives me 835fps on average with CPHP 14.3gr pellets. I use the artillery hold when shooting and that seems to suit both me and the rifle. Accuracy is all on me, but the rifle requires I be very tightly consistent in order to stack pellets, which it will do. If I'm off my game, the groups open up, but not to the point where I'd complain. Cloverleaf patterns look fine too! I did drill a hole in the receiver, about one inch from the rear, so that I could use a stop pin on my scope mount. Without that hole, mounts move, and the scope stop which came with the rifle is close to useless on this rifle. Oddly, I have the Leapers 3x9x32mm_AO_IR Bug Buster on it. The -87 is a heavy rifle, so I wanted a light weight scope that I could also use to practice indoors. As others might say, this rifle is not for small children due to it's weight and cocking effort, but all else will enjoy this bargain rifle and the shooting challenge it presents. You will get your Man-card punched just for owning one.

    Things I liked:

Heavy, big rifle and very well made. All wood and metal construction except the trigger guard. For the quality of the rifle you will not find a better one for the money. This is a full size pellet rifle. This rifle hits hard and has a good amount of recoil for a pellet rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights could be better and it could have a better weight distribution.
