Things I liked:

Everything. This rifle is a tack driver. I own 5 break barrels in 22 cal. 4 springers and the Tyrant gas spring. This one is by far the easiest 22 cal springer I own to shoot accurately, it is the only Gas spring 22 that I own. Coincidence? Probably not. My gas spring Benjamin Prowler in 177 cal. gives me similar results. The elimination of the metal spring makes these rifles much easier to shoot accurately. I still love my "springer's" for the challenge they are to shoot, but the gas spring rifles are probably a better choice for most people. I should mention, the trigger is pretty darn nice also. My Tyrant loves these cheap daisy Hollow Point Pellets.

Things I would have changed:

Throw the supplied scope as far as you can or give it to someone you hate. Use it for a tent stake or a paper weight, just don put it on an air rifle. This rifle should be sold without a scope. If you try using this scope you will think the rifle is junk. It has the worst parallax issues I have ever seen.

What others should know:

10 shot crono string =795 FPS, high 803 low 788 using Crossman premier 14.3 gr. lead pellets, excellent results.

Things I liked:

The sights are quality and easy to use. The The craftsmanship is very good.

Things I would have changed:

Needs to be easier to cock and there is zero power. If you use the gun for target practice only, it's your gun. For rodent control , this Remmington will let you down.

What others should know:

Don't waste your money, get a better gun.

    Good power, solid feel

    Things I would have changed:

11mm dovetail scope mount. The scope itself is ok but I want a reflex sight and NOBODY has one with a 11mm mount. The only option is to use an adapter that adds too much height.

    What others should know:

You are very limited when it comes to changing sights and scopes because of the 11mm dovetail rail.

Pyramid Air Price It's a Remington strong stock okay trigger

    Things I would have changed:

It's hard to cock The scope is of a modest quality I got free shipping but it was for $150+ purchase (I'd like free shipping for 100)

    What others should know:

It was an 80 dollar investment (- MRSP=120+), and I feel the 80 was a fair /good deal I bought 2 =one for a daughter gift the other for me.

    Things I liked:

Great value, I don't think it can be beat at this price point for an NP break barrel. Accurate, easily achieve 1" groups @ 30 yards. Fiber optic sights are very bright.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger pull is long and heavy. I own the .177 version and its almost too powerful, 8.8gr pellets go supersonic affecting accuracy, 10.34gr diablo jumbo heavy clean pass through on pests @ 30 yards. I would get the .22 version if I was buying again, .177 just doesn't dump enough energy on impact at the speeds this gun shoots them at.

    What others should know:

Can be a little difficult to break, younger shooters might struggle with it.

    Things I liked:

This is a great rifle. It only took 15-20 shots to sight in. I wasnt able to test actual FPS but it does pack a lot of power. I knocked down two squirrel and a crow the second day having the rifle using Hn barracuda hunter and rws super point extra . I was able to penetrate thick plastic liquor bottles, and wood using certain pellets. The break is stiff at first but it will cease.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better scope

    What others should know:

    Great bargain

    Things I liked:

I ordered the .22 cal model from PyramydAir on 5/26/18 it was delivered 6/1/18. The box was well made and rifle, scope and scope rings were as advertised. On 6/2/18 four containers of H&N Excite Spike Pellets, .22 Cal from PyramydAir were delivered. So far 250 pellets had been sent to the target through the Tyrant XGP, Accuracy has improved with cleaning and with the dieseling finally diminishing. This is my favorite break-barrel air rifle of the seven that I own. It hits a spinner target with authority. I do not use it to reduce the pest population in my yard because it is too powerful and don't desire to reek havoc on my fences. The .22 cal fps is slow enough that their is no threat of leaving subsonic speed, a big plus for backyard pinking and targets. It is a bear to cock, but worth the muscle strain. I am 66 and reliving my youth in rural Tennessee with my Tyrant, thanks PyramydAir.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights are impressive in appearance but a fail for function. I have placed silicone under the rear sight ramp to stabilize its Left / right adjustment. I replaced the use of sights with a 3-9 X40 EG Piney scope.

    What others should know:

Accuracy was a real problem when I first shot the Tyrant, almost returned it to PyramydAir, but on closer inspection I noticed the their was a slight over-molding of the plastic muzzle shroud, as the pellet was passing the crown of the barrel, it would act as a choke and send the pellet in a different direction. It would have worn away but a new crown was a simple remedy.

Has iron sights- why use a scope. Its a pain to get iron sights added to a scope only pellet rifle

a bit loud, my loudest .22 pellet lrifle

    Things I liked:

Light weight, accurate, trigger not too bad.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight sits too low on mineeither a shorter front sight or higher back sight.

    What others should know:

This is basicaly a Walmart F4 in a .22 version. The stock is the same one, only difference is the barrel. On mine the front sight was so high that I could not get it to sight in at 10 yards and ran out of adjustment when it was still 3inches low. Simple solution woudld be to either shim the rear sight, as I did with 4mm washers, or to use the supplied scope. The scope is the standard fare you get with Crosman scopes so you either like it or not. I shoot with open sights so even with my bad eyes I can group rather well this gun so the accuracy of it is probably much better than I am a shooter. The trigger is non adjustable , but it was good enough to use as a plinker, pesting rifle , the reason I bought it. I got it on sale here and the shipping was fast, and packaging was excellent, a good value for the money spent.

    Things I would have changed:

find a way to make less noise

    What others should know:

this was going to be used as a squirrel gun in my backyard. when I got the rifle took outside and loaded one round and fired. I thought i just shot a 22mag. It was very noisy, no way I can use it in backyard. Decided to give to my daughter for her property in country for mice.

Short 43", iron sights, most pb look alike air rifle I own. powerful in .177, smooth firing cycle not a bit of twanginess.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sights are a hair crooked standard cheap crosman sights, still works... Stock screws constantly need tightening, blue thread lock installed from factory, I cleaned them off and reinstalled with my own loctite, hope that works.

    What others should know:

accurate, very little dieseling/break in. Feels solid in hand.

Lose the Scope. Haven't even mounted it because using gun sghts but at this price point it will almost certainly disappoint.

    What others should know:

My first airgun since I was a kid. They have changed a lot. Much more powerful. Mine is in .22. Small back yard so using sights not scope. Was easy to adjust sights. Hit most every time now. Like synthetic stock because lighter. Great rifle to start or restart airgunning hobby .

    Things I liked:

Light weight, quality synthetic stock, power, low recoil and relatively quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger. I am fairly new to air guns but have several other rifles. This is the only one where my accuracy and consistency seems to be related to the trigger. The trigger action just seems to draw my attention away from the target which affects my aim. I do not have this problem with the other rifles. I have not used it with the scope.

    What others should know:

The cocking effort is not excessive but it is a very long arc, probably ten or fifteen degrees more than my Hatsan 95 Vortex. It just requires a little more "technique" but a shorter arc is definitely preferred. The front sight was rotated slightly out of true making it difficult to get the windage adjustment dialed in. The sight is just pressed on so rotating it slightly to get it straight was do-able after which dialing it in was easier.

Power. Sends lead pellets through 3/4 inch plywood easily.

    Things I would have changed:

My front scope mount seems defective. I started shooting it with just the sights and it did OK. So I decided to mount the scope but I can't get the mounts to line up. The rear mount seems OK but the front one is skewed and if you look down the barrel it lines it up left of the target.

    Things I liked:

Out of the box, the .22 cal Remington Tyrant XGP is easier to hold (feels a bit lighter and I can aim easier) than my Umarex Surge .177. It's significantly quieter (no huge "CRACK!", when firing), and shoots straighter (with built-in sites). I'm sure I can "dial in" the sites, to make it shoot perfectly straight.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd love to have a hardwood stock.

    What others should know:

It is a little harder to break open, than the Umarex Surge, but that is a small price to pay for being so much nicer, overall.
