Things I liked:

I really like this pistol! Good fit and feel in the hand, very realistic, which makes it a good option for low cost target practice... I can go downstairs and shoot over 50 "rounds" of practice and the total cost is less than one dollar for pellets, CO2, and a target... Compared to spending $50 on centerfire ammo for a 9mm pistol and having to drive to a range, etc. that is FANTASTIC..! Accuracy seems to be quite good, also which makes the target practice that much more valuable... This pistol seems to be reasonable in it's use of CO2 - I get a full practice sessions of 3 magazines with very consistent pellet velocity - if you are just "plinking", you can get much more than that...

Things I would have changed:

Nothing...

What others should know:

Save on shipping - when you order your P250, also order the 2-pack of additional magazines so you can load 3 magazines before you step into the garage (or wherever you "range" is) and they you can practice without any interruption... Well worth the cost of the extra magazines....

Things I liked:

Authentic looking replica made by Sig

Things I would have changed:

Everything, redesign from the ground up. The blowback seems to occur slightly out of sync with the firing of the pellet. This causes the gun to unnecessarily kick back and disrupts your aiming and handling of the gun, very annoying, great three dot sights, but useless on this poorly made gun.

What others should know:

I am an avid gun owner and enthusiast, and I am looking for a somewhat realistic shooting experience in my back yard (within city limits) that is both fun and helpful in developing my skill. If you are in that same box, don't waste your money on these cheap guns. Fortunately, the first pellet pistol I bought was the Umarex made H&K P30 replica. That gun is a lot of fun to shoot and has me hooked on pellet guns. Comparatively, this Sig is a piece of junk, cheap plastic toy, not worth taking out of the box, if this had been my first experience, i would have never gotten into pellet guns. If you are a gun owner looking into pellet guns, skip the cheap guns and go straight to the much more expensive Umarex replicas, they will provide hours of fun and enjoyment.

    Things I liked:

Sighting For all three ASP pistols, some reviewers report that the fixed sights were significantly off . My P250 shot to aimpoint with Crosman Competition 7.4 gr wadcutters. Velocity The Sig Sauer packaging says up to 500 fps”. The PyramydAir website says average = 401 fps with 5.25 gr pellets; their test of my P250 with 7 gr pellets gave ave = 371 fps, range = 421-335. Grip size The P250 firearm has 3 grip modules. The P250 ASP has only one; it fits my small hands OK (glove size men’s S or M). CO2 Use Average 60 shots/cartridge. Trigger Ronald reports (review 2016-06-05) that the P250 ASP is DA/SA, unlike the P250 firearm, which is double action only. Dennis Adler’s otherwise very useful PyramydAir review incorrectly states the ASP is DAO like the firearm; mine is DA/SA; and the packaging says “Single/Double Action Trigger”. DA - lifts 8 lb, breaks 8½ lb, pull = ¾” SA - lifts 5¾ lb, breaks 6 lb, reset = ¼” Overall: A very pleasing pistol. No problems in 2000 rounds.

    Things I would have changed:

    (1) Fixed sights: For this pistol and other fixed-sight pistols, it would be very useful if PyramydAir offered a testing service to check if the sight alignment was reasonably accurate; Id be happy to pay for this, perhaps as an add-on to the 10-for-$10 service. I had an e-mail exchange about this with helpful people at PyramydAir and thought I had arranged for a sighting test, but the 10-for-$10 Test Certificate showed no notation about testing sighting. My P250 is sighted fine, but it would have been good to get the test. (2) Realistic function: Many reviewers note that the three Sig Sauer ASP pellet pistols lack useful features that are found on many blowback BB pistols like the SIG Sauer P226 X-Five Open Combo: complete controls, slide lock back on empty, realistic magazine changes, adjustable sights. I’d be happy to pay more for a pellet pistol with these features, 50% or even 100% over current list price. Shooting indoors at short ranges, I need a pellet gun to av

    What others should know:

It is very useful to have additional magazines; they come in a two-pack for $20 at PyramydAir: https://www.pyramydair.com/product/sig-sauer-p226-and-p250-pistol-magazine-16rds-2-pack?a=5921

    Things I liked:

I FOUND ANOTHER KEEPER. GRIP IS JUST RIGHT FOR MY HAND SIZE, MY P226 WITH THE ARCHED BACKSTRAP DOESNT FIT ME. ACCURACY IS REALLY GOOD WITH GROUPS AT 35 FT ARE USUALLY IN CLUSTERS OFFHAND EXCEPT FOR ME THROWING AN OCCASIONAL FLYER. I USE RWS 7 GR PRO LINE WADCUTTERS. SIGHTS WERE AN INCH HIGH AT 35 FT WITH THE WINDAGE DEAD ON, SO A WINNER THERE. TRIGGER PULL IS ACTUALLY BETTER ON BOTH MY SIGS THAN THE REAL ONES. CRISP WITH LITTLE FELT MOVEMENT AND MAYBE 3# ON BOTH. NO FAILURES OF ANY KIND IN THE FIRST 1,000 RDS. I MOSTLY SHOOT MY 250 AT LEAST A FEW RDS DAILY. AT A MEASURED 25 YDS ON MY OUTDOOR RANGE YOU CAN HIT GAL MLK JUGS EASILY.

    Things I would have changed:

NOTHING, THE PRICE IS SO CHEAP IM GOING TO GET ANOTHER. I HOPE THE 320 WILL BE AS GOOD.

    What others should know:

MY FRIEND AT SIG IN N.H. PURCHASED THE GUNS AT THE PRO SHOP FOR ME ALONG WITH A MCX RIFLE AS A GIFT. MY FAV IS THE 250 AND THE RIFLE. WORKING FLAWLESS SINCE OPENING THE CLAMSHELL PACKAGING { THAT REALLY SUCKS } I SEE WHY THEY ADVERTISE LIFE TESTED FOR 150,000 RDS. I WORKED IN THE GUN INDUSTRY ALL MY LIFE AND THAT PLASTIC SHOULD REALLY BE UPGRADED. AT LEAST THE LONG GUN WAS BOXED NICELY IN CARDBOARD. I LIVE IN THE COUNTRY SO MY RANGE BEGINS ON MY FRONT STEP MAKING IT EASY TO SHOOT OFTEN. FOR $ 65. ITS A LOT OF GUN WITH NO PROBS FOR ME.

It is surprisingly accurate. I use RWS Super-H-point pellets. Smooth blow back feature. Pellets always go through soda cans and sometimes soup cans at 30 ft.

    Things I would have changed:

The clip leaves 2 pellets loose and out of clip when ejecting clip to flip it for the next 8 rounds.

crazy fun to shoot, accurate enough to use for close range drills. The decocker works well. realistic cycle compared to the P250 firearm. solid construction. I'm definitely pleased.

    Things I would have changed:

safety is VERY stiff- too much to use for safety training on kids (10ish) perhaps it will loosen in time.

    Things I liked:

The sleak design, very comfortable in the hand, heck of a blowback, long picatinny rail, easy to load co2.

    Things I would have changed:

As with all pellet guns like this I wish it had a "real" ejection port instead of just depression molded into the slide. I'm not a big fan of rolled pins used during assembly as they let light shine through and make the gun look too toy-like. I prefer solid pins. Nit picky, I admit. Mostly I wish you didn't have to remove the back strap to install the co2, that way I could throw on a grip sleeve with finger grooves.

    What others should know:

Quite a few people have dumped on this when compared to its brother the P226. I have both and I must say Ill take the 250 over the 226 any day!! Maybe my 226 is defective but it begins to lose power after about 10 shots where as the 250 let me get through 32 before any noticeable decrease occurred. The P226 is quite heavy in the hand in comparison and feels cumbersome. The 250 feels light and agile. Also the cam/lever co2 piercing system on the 226 leaves a bit to be desired. I have no problem at all with the tried and true thumb screw method which the 250 has. It's an all around solid performer that is a winner for the price!

    Things I liked:

I've had the opportunity to shoot my SIG 250 offhand once at 7 yards and was not impressed with its accuracy. It shot low and the group wasn't that good.I need to try other pellets. Overall a good copy of the original as to feel and the slide blow-back makes it interesting. The real SIG 250 is a double action only pistol while the pellet gun is DA/SA. If you de-cock the hammer using the safety the first shot is DA and following shots SA. So the pellet pistol is more like a 226 in operation.

    Things I would have changed:

Biggest gripe is the difficulty in using the safety, very hard to push on or off. There may be legal reasons for having a safety, but I'd prefer a safety-less DA only replica. The rear sight should be a bit higher so that pellet groups shoot higher.

    Things I liked:

I give this blow back a 4 star only because it is a semi- needing safety reset to fire another round instead of like the Gama and Beretta single and semi auto's. The P 250 is my first blow back and picked because to the FPS that is more than most the others. I used the Sig Sauer hollow point that seem a little tighter fitting in the mag and chamber than other high speed pellets. Great blow back with a nice feel and power for a co 2.

    Things I would have changed:

Would be top of the line blow back if it was semi auto. Needs a better info instruction pamphlet on how safety resets to fire next round. Pack more magazines.

    What others should know:

This and other P 250 has to be re-cocked to fire each round. Once brock in and kept oiled with use of both hands re-cocking can be done faster. Great power gun with good looks for the money.

I like the feel of the gun and looks of the gun, the trigger is ok. I will try some different pellets later and see if I can squeeze more accuracy out of this gun...It not bad for the price..

    Things I would have changed:

I wonder if fiber optic sites would be better...

    What others should know:

I have only tried crosman hollow point pellets, they seem to have some feeding problems, either will not discharge on trigger pull or the magazine is not cycling. They group ok at 7 yards in my basement. Ok yes it's use a lot of Co2, but that's to be excepted, 3 mags. seem to be the best. I will get some sample pellets and see if they will do better in accuracy and discharging..

    Things I liked:

Nice looking pistol. The weight and clank of the slide. Trigger pull in single action is not bad considering that it has to cycle the rotary mag. Nice ergonomics! Feels great in my hands (I have large hands).

    Things I would have changed:

This would be my one of my favorite pistols if it had more realism! The fake ejection port, Non functioning take down lever and slide release are cheesy. Granted that it might be difficult to lock back the slide when empty with a rotary mag it can be done. Sig Sauer makes very advanced firearms and could have figured it out. I would like to have seen the innovative CO2 Piercing system thats on the p226 here! I thought it would be I was surprised upon opening the compartment to see the archaic piercing screw. the plastic in the lower portion of the gun needs to be improved feels kinda cheap. I know the gun is only 79.99 but it needs improvement.

    What others should know:

Overall for the price I think that this is an awesome buy. Its a nice gun with room for improvement.
