Things I liked: I already have a black one , I just wanted to know what it would be like to have one in each hand and blazing away, and it's pretty cool mon. Have a safe weekend.

Things I would have changed: More Power

What others should know: Be safe

Things I liked: Thinking about returning the gun, very poor QC...but price is right...

Things I would have changed: 1/4" slop travel in slide in static position...not like a Sig CF... Trigger is 3/4" take up rough and scratchy then stops and has a rough 6lb + break trigger does not lend itself to target shooting...

What others should know: Easy to load CO2 and pellets, good sighting, nice looking but finish is Pot Metal looking, very accurate once crappy trigger is mastered...

Things I liked: This P226 X-Five Silver is a big and heavy pellet pistol. Except for the grips and the magazine, I think everything else is metal. Although the trigger pull is long due to the trigger advancing the magazine, the trigger pull is not hard and heavy. The safety is ambidextrous with a hard click. Although I find it easy to use the thumb of my shooting hand to take the safety off, my shooting hand thumb doesn't have enough leverage to reactivate the safety. The safety click is hard enough that I need to use my non-shooting hand to reactivate the safety. I like the adjustable rear sight, but I found the pistol was difficult to zero in. I was going back and forth on the sight adjustment trying to get the shots to group on the center of the target. My accuracy with the pistol was not as good some others have reported. The belt magazine worked well without jamming. I also like the cam lever for loading the CO2.

Things I would have changed: I would like to see white dots on the rear sight in addition to the white dot on the front sight.

What others should know: I shot groups of 10 shots each from a bench rest at 18 feet to target. I started at 18 feet rather than 33 feet (10 meters) because I wanted to see what accuracy I could get at short distance first. Nearly all of my 10 shot groups were 3" to 4". RWS Supermag pellets gave me a 10 shot group of 2.5". Several pellets gave me groups less than 2" for less than 10 shots. Crosman wad: 1.75" (6 shots); Meisterkugeln Pistol: 1.75" (8 shots); Hobby: 1.75" (8 shots); Supermag: 1.6" (5 shots); JSB Match Diabolo: 1.25" (7 shots); H&N Match Pistol: 1.75" (6 shots); and H&N Match Rifle: 1.75" (7 shots). I really like the silver finish.
