    Things I liked:

Everything. The weight, the smoothness of the spring and cocking. The quietness as well as the low amount of recoil. This is by far my favorite gun for just plinking in the back yard. My nephews also love shooting this as well. Great beginner rifle and it's of such a high quality I'll end up passing it down to one of them when I punch the final clock.

    Things I would have changed:

Checkering on the stock could've been deeper into the wood grain. I'm not a huge fan of these open sights. I would've like to seen the style on the diana 350 magnum. Those are some killer open sights.

    What others should know:

So I had a problem with consistent shooting with this rifle. I spent hours and hours cleaning and going over everything to find the problem. By dumb luck I bumped the tip of my garbage can aka my rest I was shooting on and when I inspected the front of the gun I noticed THE FRONT SITE WAS LOOSE! It has 2 screws on one side and slides up ad down the barrel. To me, that's an adjustable site imo. So if you are having trouble with your open sites check the front site, heck, adjust it if you need to! Mine was shooting high. I moved the site all the way forward and its much better now. I hope this helps anyone/someone who is having an awful time trying shoot their gun accurately. Cheers!

    What others should know:

Have been trying various .22 break barrels to hunt squirrels. Woods are seeing more and more people each year. Didnt feel .22 LR was safe any longer. Have done the typical Crossmans, gamos, etc. and for plinking they are ok, but was becoming frustrated with lack of hunting accuracy on my part. Pcps require too much stuff for me, don't see that as fun. Bought the Terrus as a last ditch effort and very glad I did. With the open sights I was shooting 1 inch groups at 17 yards( length of my back yard range) right out of the box. Very solid feel, and compaired to those I've tried so far, the trigger is very good, light and crisp enough not to pull your aim off. At 62 l don't like to struggle with my hunting implements. I think this is going to be a game changer for me. Already this gun is fun because it's accurate and easy to use.

Bought the rings and mounted my own scope. Got it (.22) dialed in quickly. ~200 shots downrange and a bore brush. just stacked 10 shots at 10 yds that will into a single hole that looks like a single 30/30 round.

    Things I would have changed:

not a terribly smooth trigger. will adjust it some...

    What others should know:

my first airgun... so not really sure I'd buy this one again.

    Things I liked:

I love ALMOST everything about this rifle, from the looks, trigger, pretty low cocking effort, and the price point for a German made air rifle. I bought this after owning a gamo varmint as I am new to airguns and the terrus just blows the gamo out of the water, no comparison. It's a super sweet shooter that's good for pretty much anyone. I got mines in .177

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not a big fan of the hiviz sights, it would be better if Walther put a globe on the front sight so it can be better protected.

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

This gun is lightweight and very easy to cock. It could easily be an all day shooter. It hits pretty hard for a gun that cocks so easily. I was able to sight it in very quickly and punch holes exactly where I aimed it in a very short time. It seems like it would make a great gun for a young person or a female to use. I like the auto safety and the ease with which I can site in the target. I have not touched the trigger adjustment and out of the box, it is as good as or better than any I have. The cocking mechanism is extremely smooth. Compared to some of my other guns, it has very little if any recoil.

    Things I would have changed:

I wonder if changing the spring to a gas piston would hurt its good performance. I have much more peace of mind with my gas piston guns. This may have something to do with getting old and forgetful and dropping everything when my wife calls me the dinner.

    What others should know:

I have had to adjust the rear site almost to its limit to site it in. I am a bit uneasy about having only one click left on this adjustment. This is a great gun and I love shooting it,

    Things I liked:

Great gun for the $$$ I got mine in .22. Fit and finish is great.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a globe sight and better trigger adjustments. The trigger is solid so don't take this as a negative but it is only adjustable for first stage travel. I would like to have the option to adjust the trigger pull weight.

    What others should know:

Clean the barrel good before shooting. I tightened up the stock screws and pulled a bore snake through the barrel about 10 times. I then shot about 200 pellets and couldn't get much better than a 1" group at 10 meters with Crossman premier or H&N FTT pellets. I then got my bore brush and cleaning rod out and went to work. Now I am shooting 1/2" or better 5 shot groups at 10 meters with JSB Exact pellets. The Crossmans shoot around a 1/2" also but not as good as the JSB pellets. I ran out of the H&N pellets so I can not report on them.

Not to big to shoulder and hold , easy to cock, but most of all Fun to shoot. Pin point accurate. Feels good to hit what you're aiming at. Groups well, haven't had it to long, it continually surprises me in a good way. Glad I choose it.

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe a bit more punch.

    What others should know:

What good is a strong rifle if you can't hit anything. This is a good buy, glad I got it.

    Things I liked:

This is a really sweet rifle, it's fun and easy to shoot. It's not too heavy and has a great feel in the hands while shooting. My teenage grandkids can cock, load, shot and enjoy this rifle. The cocking cycle is really sweet all the way. Mine is a 22 caliber. I have probably shoot 200+ pellets and I find it to have excellent accuracy. I like the safety on this rifle. I mounted a Bushnell 4 x 12 x 40 scope which Greg at pyramyd air suggested and it's a nice fit. This is really a wonderful rifle for the price you pay and it's German quality. Walthers boxing of this rifle was exceptional.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much at all. I like to sight in the open sights before I mount scope and I did with this rifle. I was not at all impressed with the feel or quality of the rear sight especially the windage adjustment. That's my only bitch. Oh, the vertical stop pin hole on rail is too far aft.

    What others should know:

I used a UTG single scope mount and sliding it as far aft as I could the stop pin was too forward to use. This rifle does not have extreme recoil or spring twang and so I just tighten down the three mount screws and everything has held fine so far. I do use blue locktite on all screws. This rifle is not pellet picky. Best pellets RWS Super H and JSB DIABLO 18.13. Really nice rifle

    Things I liked:

The best spring, break barrel gun for the money hands down. It feels nothing like any spring air gun I've ever shot - very crisp, solid, no buzz. The trigger is top notch. The accuracy is excellent. very quiet. Deadly on small game.

    Things I would have changed:

The market needs a light gun of this quality - why are these guns so heavy? Even though this is a fairly light gun by quality air rifle standards, it's still heavy. My .300 win mag is lighter! Still, easier to maneuver than my bulky Marauder.

    What others should know:

Buy this - great value for the money. Much more practical than a PCP (which I own), and a lot cheaper than the step up to other Walthers or Airarms. I find myself shooting only this and leaving all my other sir rifles in the closet.

    Things I liked:

I have been extremely pleased with my Walther Terrus in the .22 caliber. I received excellent customer service from the Pyramid Air representative "Dan". His recommendation for this air rifle was spot on. I am using the open sights currently and it is very fun to shoot and extremely accurate. I am using the JSB Diablo Exact Jumbo .22 Cal in the 15.89 grain. It works great. I will probably order a quality scope at some point in the future. I think this is a lot of gun for the price. Very well pleased and would recommend it to others looking for a quality made air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    No recommendation on changes.

    What others should know:

The first time you try to break down the rifle to load it, you may have to give it a quick tap on the barrel with your free hand in order to cock it.

    Things I liked:

This started with a call to Pyramid Air tech about scopes for my Browning Leverage .22. He suggested also that I look at Rick Eutsler's review of the Walther Terrus. I think it is all that Rick said, a great 'beginner's' rifle. I think it is better than that. I bought the synthetic stock specifically to avoid buying the 'packaged' scope, but I like the synthetic stock a great deal, probably lighter than the wood stock. The chrono tape from Pyramid showed about 690 fps. The Browning has more power and can go through a half sheet of plywood. The Terrus can't. I'm shooting JSB Exact Heavies--almost 16 grains, and it does fine with that. With the Leaper's UTG 3 x 9, I'm shooting five shots at 20 yards that I can cover with a nickel. I'm hoping with time, it will be a bit more accurate. The trigger is very light compared to the Browning and I am learning to pull gently. I was pleased with the service from Pyramid and the suggestions of the tech. Thanks.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much. The German engineering comes through with this rifle. It might be nice to have swivels to be able to attach a sling.

    What others should know:

If you buy a scope for this rifle, talk to the techs at Pyramid. I needed to buy an adapter for the Leaper's UTG to mount on the stock dovetail rail.

I love the stock and the rifle is beautifully blued. After I put a scope on it I got quarter sized groups at 15 yards. Do not use the iron sights unless you do not want to adjust them.

    Things I would have changed:

If you just want iron sights don't get this, there is a chance you could get a defective rear sight I turned mine to far to the right and it's stuck there.

    What others should know:

Great air rifle over all,I suggest this for plinking and back yard pest control.

when I read the reviews on the terrus I was impressed but I chose the rws 34 instead my girlfriend came home and saw the 34 and said its mine lol I was looking at both these rifles so I bought the terrus also the walther terrus is pure quality right out of the box beautiful rifle very well made shoots excellent not to heavy very accurate all around i'm very impressed with it a very good choice my friend shot it the other day both the 34 and the walther and he liked the walther better me I like both but have to say it cocks easier and is a blast to shoot

    Things I would have changed:

walther should offer as a option the front sight globe as a accessory for purchase

    What others should know:

if your looking for a very good air rifle consider the walther terrus well worth it

    Things I liked:

This is a nice .177 airgun. After unboxing and cleaning, the Terrus was scoped and tested with very good to excellent results. I've shot about three hundred pellets so far and the gun is settling in quite nicely. 5 shot groups with RWS Supermags can fit inside a dime @ 20yds. I'm pleased. I found my gun was a 12 ft lb gun. RWS Meisterkugeln 8.2 gr chronographed at 788 fps average. Just what I like...not overly powerful but enough to get the job done. The gun is very well built (Germany) and I found no flaws in the bluing. Cocking is very smooth and I expect it to get even better over time. I actually like the synthetic stock. It feels great in my hands and looks good too.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is not as nice as a Weichrauch Record but it's fine.

    What others should know:

While the weight of the Terrus is very modest (a plus), the light weight sometimes hurts a springer's grouping. It's easier to shoot my heavy LGU accurately, but the Terrus is an accurate gun. For $200....fantastic. Just be sure to tighten all the stock screws...mine were loose and it will affect the accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Quality feel in the break action. Accurately machined. The gun is proving to be very accurate. Trigger was to my liking right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

A metal trigger would finish the gun off nicely as would finer sights.

    What others should know:

I like the beefier size fore stock of the composite version, but if you're used to more traditional stock dimensions you may want to give it a look see first... Or go for the wood stock. I hooked a 3-9x 50mm Hawke scope on it and although a heavy combination, it's been a deadly rodent reducer. Very happy!
