Things I liked:

The 500 pellet tins are convenient in size and weight for the quantity contained, fitting easily with the pistol case with the Beeman P17 for which I bought them. To the limits of my testing equipment (eyes, fingertips, observation of fit in chambers) these pellets are very uniform in size and shape. They fit snugly within the chamber of the P17. Within the limits of my marksmanship, they are capable of producing tight, consistent groups. They have become my default choice of pellet for the P17, producing tighter groups and higher scores on 10m scaled targets than the more expensive Crosman Competition Wadcutters which had been my previous default choice. To my 10m scaled experience with the P17, they are significantly superior to the slightly more expensive Daisy Precision Max wadcutters, and the equal of the more expensive RWS Diabalo Basics. While it may be possible to buy equally good pellets so inexpensively, I have yet to find such an opportunity. Purchasing ahead for a year's use, and taking advantage of PA's excellent 4 tins for the price of 3, I was recently able to buy 6,000 pellets (12 tins) for less than $47 (including $8 shipping,) less than 8/10 of a penny per pellet.

Things I would have changed:

While the 500 pellet tins are convenient, I would prefer a more robust tin with a screw on lid, such as some Crosman pellets are sold in. In the meantime, an elastic band around the tin keeps it closed. It would also be convenient to be able to buy them in bulk containers of one or two thousand.

What others should know:

The chamber fit being snug and the space for loading within the P17 breach being limited, I have experimented with oiling the pellets lightly. This does ease loading and has not affected the performance of the pellets negatively. About five drops of the Air Venturi MP5 oil to half a tin of pellets (close the tin and roll it about gently for at least a minute to distribute the oil) has yielded good results.

Very inexpensive alternative pellet to practice with.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing that we have control over.

    What others should know:

Semi accurate, regardless of what other reviews state. I tested these pellets using a fixed bench with a rifle vice made for accuracy testing with precision rifles ( FWB 800X and Anschutz 1905 in an aluminum stock) at 10 meters. Five-shot groups were the size of a pellet and a half or one of the five pellets strayed far enough to make a separate hole on several test groups. With that said based upon the price an excellent pellet for plinking. Think twice if real accuracy is important.

    Things I liked:

These are my go-to economy pellets for practice and plinking. Compared to other economy pellets, the consistency is very uniform. They are fairly clean, too. Most of my guns pattern well with them.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing. I have no complaints.

    What others should know:

Buy 4 tins at a time and they cost 2/3 cents each. Thats a great value. Other economy pellets I have tried were dirty and very inconsistent compared to these.

    Things I liked:

I got these for practice with my 10 meter pistol. They give very tight groups and seem to work well. I thought that being coasted was a bit strange, but it seems to give them a good level of uniformity. What this will do to my barrel remains to be seen. Overall, a good but inexpensive pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

A screw on lid versus a snap on lid. Also have about a dozen with damaged/deformed skirts. A large tin would probably help this

    What others should know:

Pyramyd does a great job of packaging these for shipment.

    Things I liked:

I liked the 500 pellets at the price. They grouped better than the 5 other wadcutters at 20 feet out of my revolvers especially the smooth bore dual ammo revolvers.

    Things I would have changed:

The lid of the tin does latch on in any way. I use tape or rubber band.

    What others should know:

The insides of the skirts are a bit ragged on some pellets but didn't affect them at short indoors range.

The Beeman coated wadcutter has proven itself to be the most consistently accurate .177 pellet I've found for all my air and CO2 pellet rifles and pistols.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

If you can't get one hole groups at 25 yards with the Beeman its the gun or you its definitely not the pellet.

I do not live and breathe air guns but this is the best pellet (out of four other types) I've used in my 0.177 Hatsan Edge Vortex. Precision is the key word here.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing to see here...

    What others should know:

The fit of these pellets in the breech is very precise. Out of 2,000, ZERO have fallen from the breech. Other 0.177 pellets, e.g., those found at Wallies, have fallen out of the breech without me knowing it.

    Things I would have changed:

Sometimes the quality looks a little suspect but they still shoot well.

    What others should know:

The only reason I made the overall rating 4 stars is because of the perception of lack of total quality control but as I said, they still shoot well and work great in this particular rifle. I tried them in my FWB 300s and they were not that great.

Cost, decent accuracy for the cost (0.5" pattern at 13 yards and 3/4" pattern at 20 yards, and no lead residue on fingers.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to have a screw lid for these pellets.

    What others should know:

Shot these in my Umarex Fusion (a modest power CO2 rifle) in a 17 mph crosswind. Accuracy improved dramatically after 30 shots. Nice clean holes. Occasional fliers probably due to wind gust (24 mph). Most pellets made 3/8" pattern at 13 yards and 1/2" pattern at 20 yards. Could hit a can at 42 yards. Not bad for a pellet that cost less than a penny.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

Just plink and target shoot. Use these in a Benji Trail NP pistol and Ruger Blackhawk Elite. New to airgunning but have tried six different pellets. The Crosman wadcutters and hollow points were acceptable but extremely dirty to handle. Didn't like having to shower after each shooting session. I don't know what the Beeman are coated with, but it works. No more dirty hands and the barrel does not seem to pick up any excess residue. They leave a clean hole when punching paper and the Ruger devastates soup and drink cans with the Beemans. Love the packaging. They have a little plastic window with a display pellet on each tin. Nice touch. After eight tins, have not had one throwaway pellet due to deformity. There probably are better wadcutters out there, but for the money, these do just fine for me. Highly recommend.

    Things I would have changed:

Sell them in a 1000 pack reducing the packaging costs and lowering the price ever further.

    What others should know:

I am still shaking. I tested these pellets in my Daisy 747 pistol equipped with a red dot sight at 10 meters using a sandbag rest. My current stable of ammo consists of Gamo tomahawk and Gamo master points which I use for cans and other reactive targets. But my babies are the H&N match which I use sparingly when I wish to impress myself. Well partners I think there may be a new sheriff in town. The Beemans went toe to toe with the H&N's. They shot to different areas of the one inch diameter bull but the groupings were virtually identical in size, .410 of an inch. Perhaps you could do better but that is pretty good for these 65 year old eyes. I plan to further evaluate the Beeman's in my P17 but expect similar results since the H&N's also are the most accurate in that pistol. At a greater distance or in a rifle I cannot testify to how they will perform but based on my little test, WOW!

Fantastic price, great weight. Sightly tight skirt makes loading into breech a little tight but travels considerably faster while maintaining accuracy. All around A-1 wad-cutter pellet. I highly recommend for mid to long range target shooting.

    Things I liked:

cost, accuracy don't have much to compare with but can get a good group out of a just purchased winchester m14 dual co2 cartridge repeater (8 shot repeater) BUT see next section

    Things I would have changed:

quality control is bad. Between 5% and 10% of pellets either had obviously out of round (ie flat on one side) skirt rim, and / or lots of pellet debris inside the skirt. Had to inspect each one and discard the bad ones which grossly slows down loading the repeater magazines. Was afraid to shoot any with the tailings / burrs or other debris as thought might require frequent barrel cleaning. Also MANY SEEMED LOOSE in the magazine and I had frequent jams. As I bought no others, and my other rifle is a 22 cal I can't compare to other manufacturers pellets.
