H&N Baracuda .25, .25 Reviews

These would be considered too heavy by many in my hatsan edge ,25, but they are surprisingly accurate. But add to that the crushing impact of this pellet, I now have short to moderate range thumper that has changed the meaning of "reactive targets".

I hope the resurgent popularity the ,25 will bring the price down a little

My 25grainers shoot excellent too, but the 30s tame the springer recoil and just feel smooth and deceptively powerful

DO NOT work well in AEA upss. i think they are too long. they fly great hit hard and are accurate but do NOT cycle well in the semi auto. H&N field target trophy work much better

These H&N 30.86 grain baracuda pellets work great in my Hatsan 135 QE vortex .25 caliber break barrel air rifle. I used to use H&N 22.07 grain hornet pellets but no more. I got these specifically for their penetration and they did not disappoint. Im Shenandoah1982 on YouTube and I have a video posted of me shooting one of these pellets from about 30 feet away at 3 back to back plastic gallon water jugs and the pellet penetrated through the first two jugs and entered the third jug. Not to mention the accuracy of them from 20 yards away with their nice snug fit in the breach of my rifle

heavy snug fitting pellet ........ this pellet in .25 cal works very good in my hatsan air tact...... i think a lot of the accuracy comes from the snug fit ...... its a nice hard hitting pellet and i got it at a great price

These 0.25 caliber pellets are great. Out of the 10 different brands and types of pellets shot, these are the most accurate for my Wiehrauch HW80K at 10 and 20 yds. Bench shooting 10 shot groups I get center to center groupings from 0.24 - 0.50 at 10 yds, 0.40 - 1.00 at 20 yds, and 0.98 - 1.50 at 30 yds. At 30 yds the PolyMags slightly out shoot these with 0.83 - 1.50 groups.

Stock up because these are rarely available in 0.25 caliber.

The last 2 times I've ordered pellets from Pyramid air I have had trouble. The 1st time with their delivery fedex the 2nd time they shorted me tins of pellets. Then I got to deal with customer service from overseas. Not happy with that

Hard hitting and accurate....I shoot them at about 1075 fps with an airforce rifle using a 23" barrel....

These are very accurate and heavy pellets. Great long range hunting pellets that work great in my Hatsan mod135. Hit with a thunderous impact. Great pellets for the price.

It is very accuracy throgh my .25 Benjamin maurader. I shot 4 shots from 30meters away and they were in a quarter.

Since they changed the can from 200 to 150 I've noticed that weight and consistency has also changed for the worse. I emailed H&N and they swore nothing was changed -total BS!!! (regarding the pellet) and said "they changed Quantity because of the graphic"? Couldn't they just put a new graphic or sticker on the 200ct tin?! These used to be my go-to pellet. I would've gladly paid more money for the 200 count, vs the same $ for less quantity. Especially when your buying 4, or 5 tins, that's 200 less pellets your getting when buying 4 tins!! NEVERTHELESS, I would've still enjoyed 150 count BUT, the weight, and the consistency, and weight from pellet to pellet is not what It used to be. There "ok" but not great as before. I used to do same hole, to clover leaf holes at 30 yards with my .25 marauder. Now If I try, Im lucky to do 1" groups at 30 yards and typically does around 2" groups at 30yds. Thought my gun was messed up till load jsb and Its all smiles and back to 1 hole groups @ 30yds

Bring back quality and consistency of the Barricudas that came In 200 count tins. Night and day difference, and I thought I was crazy or Imagining It. Before they were 31 grains and the weight from pellet to pellet, was much more precise. Old tins Shot better and better value

Stick with Jsb's!! I've got about 5 tins of these new barricudas and I dont even like to Use them for target shooting anymore.

Great value for the price. Pellets fly straight and hits very hard out of my Hatsan vortex springer. Also I like the screw on lids.
