Things I liked:

These are not pellets. They are bullets. They are also very nicely crafted.

Things I would have changed:

Though these pellets must bite the rifling hard since they are entirely dependent on the rifling twist for stabilization, I think they could be a bit less snug to lessen friction and gain a little more velocity without affecting accuracy. It would be nice to see P/A include rifling twist rates in the product specs. Two things I have not seen listed in any airgun product catalog for many years are pellet seats and pellet sizers. I would like to see them make a come-back.

What others should know:

These are specialty pellets and not compatible with all air rifles. I would not consider them for air rifles with a delicate action. Direct access to the breech would be best. These pellets fit so snugly I use a high tech pellet seat (an1/8" pop rivet on a makeshift handle) to insert them to a uniform depth in the bore of my 25 y/o RWS M45. Accuracy was not as good as I had hoped for but I cannot put a bum rap on these beautiful pellets. I suspect that my old rifle just did not quite have a fast enough twist rate to stabilize them fully. These pellets are not a "diabolo" (wasp-waisted) design so there is no aerodynamic drag at the rear of the pellet to help them fly true. A good diabolo pellet is inherently accurate and will shoot accurately even from a smooth bore air gun due to this rear end drag, however it also puts the brakes on like a dragster with the parachute out. The Rabbit Magnums may start out with a lower velocity due to the weight and friction, but will conserve momentum more efficiently and carry much farther than a diabolo type pellet, which is an important safety consideration. So if your "adult airgun" (as Beeman used to call them) was made at or before the dawn of magnum pellets try the heaviest pellet you can find with a skirt and you should be fine. I have a tin of Eunjin pellets that I have not tried or commented on yet, however they look identical to the old Beeman Silver Ace that always shot fabulously from my tired old air rifle.

Things I liked:

Shape and mass of pellet. Looks like a small bullet.

Things I would have changed:

Fit. Pellets were tight in my old school '82 Crossman 760. 6/6 pellets jammed. Wouldn't fire with maximum pumps. Couldn't use these.

    Things I liked:

Doesn’t work well in my spring piston guns. Very heavy and needs more energy to shoot. Drops quickly and hits 12” low at 20 yards. Also has a larger diameter and is hard to load.

    Things I would have changed:

Smaller diameter might help in loading. If I didn’t have a pellet seating tool I wouldn’t be able to use it at all.

I'm using a diana mauser 1100/1200 fps shoots these at 879fps to 850fps or so straight as an arrow. At 40 yards hitting one inch every time. Love these will buy more but noticed the new slugs on the market for sure will be buying loads of them.

    Things I liked:

Solid, heavy and perfect for the new sound suppressor rifles that shoot at supersonic speeds. If you shot exits above the speed of sound, the sonic boom defeats the silencer. Your Whisper rifle will be louder than you expected! The power of most nitro chambers on modern break barrel guns is powerful enough for the additional weight and will pound your target with exact precision.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Other heavy pellets have thin rims around the backside cavity and the tight rifled barrels require additional force to enter completely. This tends to crimp the backside and the deformed rear cavity makes them inaccurate.

    What others should know:

H & S and other quality pellet manufacturers are worth a little extra for precision depends on the regular shaping of the pellets.

    What others should know:

In both a nitro piston and Marauder crosman products these things are useless. They are hard to seat in the barrel. I would have better accuracy grabbing a fist full of rocks and throwing them at the target. No redeeming qualities for these rifles. I threw the tin out with maybe 50 rounds used because its just not fun shooting with ammo you can't hit anything with.

The weight .The shape .the skirt hangs out just a little bit I mean a little bit .I hope I didn't mess up my gun .that would really suck .

    Things I would have changed:

Well I would definitely put in the description that these are for PCP RIFLES ONLY .it says that on the can .but it does not say that in the description .I must have shot 15-20 through my mach 1 .I hope I didn't mess it up .I would be bummed .I haven't even broke it in yet .

    What others should know:

THESE PELLETS ARE FOR PCP ONLY !!! IT STATES THIS ON THE CAN !!! but I could not find it anywhere in the description ..man I hope my gun is ok .will PA take back a tin with 15-20 missing .considering the circumstances?

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

I was looking for a heavier pellet to shoot in my AirForce Talon SS with a 18" barrel at longer ranges (75 yds). These pellets have a better BC than most, so they should have a better long range accuracy. I have only tried them in my Rem NPSS at short range, and they do ok with a 485 fps. today I'll put them thru the Talon and see how they perform. As with any pellet, if the barrel doesn't like them, they won't shoot very accurate. Get a tin of whatever looks good and give them a try. If they shoot good, get a bunch, if they don't , plink with what you have and get another.

    Things I liked:

Tried these first in a Beeman Silver Kodiak. Yes, the can says PCP only, but a magnum springer has no trouble firing these in case anyone is interested. They are difficult to seat but I was using one of the pellet pens with an integral seater and with extra effort, they seated well. I like these pellets. Can't speak to penetration because I haven't checked to see how far they penetrate into my backstop. I use old magazines (about a 3" thick stack inside of a resized cardboard box for a backstop. It is silent and traps everything I have fired into it so far including including pellets from my .22 Marauder.

    Things I would have changed:

Add "or Magnum Breakbarrels" to the label on the can :)

    Things I liked:

The shape,I have tried these out of my break barrels and a few pumpers, now my 1st phase 1377 had no prob shooting then even with the heavy weight, but the pc77 did ,had to pump it another 10 times to get the pellet to clear the barrel, now they shot fine out of my Rem.Adavantage & my Ruger Air hawlk as well as my Ben.Trail NP XL.They had a tight fit but loaded ok in the break barrels , in the pumppers the loaded fine , I even have bagged 3 rabbits with the 1377s using them at about 15yards one shot kills.

    Things I would have changed:

maybe not make them fit so tight so the feed in more rifles better.

    What others should know:

because of the weight you would want to shoot them out of a more powerful rifle but it all depends on your gun cuz ya got to find out what it wants as amo.

    What others should know:

I've read the reviews of others who couldn't get them to group. With my RWS 350 magnum I' getting 1/4 inch groups at 25 yards. That's after firing about 1/2 a tin. Looks like it will be great for hunting if you have a high power gun.

    Things I liked:

Impressive Penetration in soft targets. Not affected by wind very much. Good for magnum airguns. Very good long range energy retention.

    Things I would have changed:

Slightly decrease pellet diameter for a better fit.

    What others should know:

These pellets are like the slugs elephant guns use: slow, little to no expansion and extreme penetration. I tested some of these pellets on some large frozen pumpkins and they made a complete passthrough of not one but four whole frozen pumpkins, which is insane for a .177 caliber pellet. The pumpkin rinds when stacked on top of each other were about 10-12 inches thick and frozen solid. After each shot with these pellets, I could hear the pellet richocet off the trees in the distance. I imagine you could shoot a rabbit front on and nearly penetrate the entire rabbit with these pellets. I would also like to mention NEVER shoot these out of low powered springers, because you'll be out a gun barrel since these will get stuck in your gun, and stuck tight!

Nicely formed, uniform weight, screw-on lid.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer it in a weight range of 10.5g to 12.0g. That might work in the Benjamin Discovery.

    What others should know:

This pellet simply will not produce any semblance of grouping in the Benjamin Discovery. In both the standard barrel and a Lothar-Walther Match barrel it sent wild flyers in all directions. This pellet resembles a bullet and must need a faster rate of rifling twist than the 1 in 10" or 1 in 12" I tried.

I like the shape as they are kinda like a mini ball.

    Things I would have changed:

maybe try to make them in a PBA that might help with lower power air guns still shot them. and more for the money.

    What others should know:

I knew they, were heavy but still tried them in my 1377 1st phase and they shot fine, but not so much in my 1377c,as I had to repump it another 10 times to get it to clear the barrel.

    Things I liked:

A truly heavy pellet for varmints in .177. Single round fired into heavy modeling clay showed deep channel but virtually no expansion with Beeman P-1 pistol. Travel in clay was nearly 2".

    Things I would have changed:

These things need to come with a pellet sizer (a rare commodity these days). I happen to have a Gilles sizer and reworked a tin of these that were given to me by a friend who could not get these to work on in a Benjamin XL Nitro Piston rifle. My friend didn't have a sizer.

    What others should know:

I note that the disappointed reviewers all sought to size these large diameter pellets using some form of pellet seat tool. One actually needs a sizer to fit these to the breech properly. Good luck finding a sizer these days!
