Overall the chassis is solid, but it is also a bit heavy. The fixed stock is also solid, but it has one major flaw. The cheek piece is in the way of most bore guides. In order to use a bore guide, you have to either: a) Remove the cheek rest, which is a pain because of how the nuts are loose once you undo the screws and hard to put back on, b) Remove the stock which is easier, but still a hassle. I ended up getting the hinge, but for the price of this chassis I would have expected the cheek rest to be easy to remove/reinstall in order to use a bore guide. It's probably smarter to get this chassis with the hinged stock.
