I found some play between Daniel Defense mag and coupler

Very easy to use and durable. Along with awesome manufacturing of product.

Very disappointed. I own several Magpul products and this looked like the perfect option for magazine couplers so I ordered 2 from a dealer. One of the 2 had a screw that wouldn't unscrew to allow me to put magazines in, so I returned it for an exchange. The second opened and allowed me to install, but I tried to adjust the magazines today and it has a screw that won't unscrew to allo me to take out the magazines.

Stripped threads as received. Screw stuck. Garbage

Bullet in the second mag works forward while emptying the first mag! And forget taking it back apart cheap screws strips out.

One of the screws will become stuck… even when penetrant is applied…

The terribly designed retention nuts will immediately strip free from the housing preventing tightening of the clamps. Impossible to rectify once it occurs. Pathetically shameful example of engineering design and decision making. If I was magpul, I would fire the designer of this immediately.

1 of the 2 securing screws stripped before tightening. Wont come out or go in, only way to remove it is to brake it.

Cadets purchased 2 of these for a rifle class. Ive had these in the past with zero issues. Both of the newly purchased ones will not tighten. The screws were plenty long enough but the nuts just spin and spin and never get tight on either one even with the knurled part of the nut completely pushed in. The best part? They wont unscrew either no matter what you do so they can't be disasembled to come up with a solution. Bummer. As an instructor I regret suggesting these. Update: Hammer a small screw driver between the nut and the plastic. Remove the screw. Now remove the factory installed loctite on the screw as that is the entire problem. This could be a temperature problem causing the loctite to be too firm or it was just over applied at the factory on both of mine. Remove the factory loctite with a wire wheel or brush. With the loctite removed these assemble and disassemble easily. You could also use a small amout of glue when installing the nut but mine tightened and loosened easily after removing the factory loctite. Now reasemble using blue liquid loctite if you so desire. No issues. Hey Magpul! Leave the loctite to the user.
