Now introduced in a first focal plane optic, say goodbye to carrying multiple holdover cards for various magnifications. Now the reticle scales with magnification, meaning your hold overs never change! There is also an easy to use illumination feature that can make the reticle red or green with five brightness settings.

Clear glass, reticle, first focal plane, illumination, 30 mil tube, turrets
Things I would have changed:Knurl or add a magnification ring throw lever. Off between the reticle brightness settings
What others should know:Great picture up to 17x, then starts to fuzz the edges and darken the higher in magnification you go. Has a very narrow depth of field making it hard to see your pellet in flight and the reticle and target will blur if your parallax is not correct. Stiff controls at first but getting better. Probably better for bench then hunting. On par with other scopes in the 400$ range IMO. I will try the nEw guy and compare.
