These rotary magazines are well made, easy to load and I like that they are used in a good number of different air pistols.

I recently purchased 9 more (3 sets) so that I now have 14 of these in the case with my CP88 pistol. With 14 pre-loaded, I can shoot through a full 12 gram CO2 cylinder without having to reload. That's kind of nice.
I like the idea of having back up clips but The set I purchased just wont feed reliably in my S&W .45 were as the factory clip feeds flawlessly. I noticed the 3 clips I received are a millimeter or 2 longer on their gear teeth. This extra material causes my S&W to not feed properly and at times will not fully discharge and the pellet gets mangled in the breech of the barrel. This event of having misfires in my pistol is more annoying then having to reload just the one 8 round pellet clip. At least I do not have to force the mangled wasted pellets out of the original clip. For the money it's great not having to reload just the one clip, however when your back ups cause the gun to malfunction then your worse off then were you started.
Better quality assurance to ensure that the clips will work the same in all Umarex guns that use them. If I end up getting the same crap again I may just have to stop buying the Umarex back up pellet clips.
There are a lot of happy customers of these clips but the ones that end up like mine make shooting the pistol an irritating experience and takes the fun out of plinking. I need to get in contact with Pyramyd Air given my order of clips were dropped off on my doorstep on a Saturday. My pistol works perfectly with the supplied clip but malfunctions repeated with each of the 3 Umarex supplied clips in this set.

The quality of the magazine is great and fits perfectly on my .177 Beretta 92FS

Choice of pellets are limited for this magazine because of length restriction. (For 92FS)

Buy a couple extra magazines, preload them so you can just switch them out and keep shooting.
They are metal. Metal moving parts are almost always better than plastic moving parts. Machining seems pretty good. No defect found.
Nothing. These magazines do the job and should last a long time.
Three of my airgun pistols use this magazine; three of them are used in my CO2 airguns and one of this type is used in one of my PCP pistols. My Umarex Government 1911, my Umarex Beretta 92 FS and my Magnum Research Desert Eagle use a 7 shot version of this magazine. All work flawlessly.
They tend to hold the pellets in place; they don't dislodge in the pouch prior to use like some plastic ones (unless you drop them on concrete!), They also seem very durable,
Since they fit so many guns and probably sell in volume I would think that they could be sold cheaper in bulk.
Buy at least enough for a couple CO2 cartridges. You'll enjoy your shooting session more if you don't have to reload so often.

Make sure you buy plenty of them.
They work as they should. The pellets are help firm;ly in place so you can cary several extra magazines and not worry about loosing pellets. I have 5 magazines for my 1911 and that is just barely enough. More would be better.
