Glad bought 3 bike rack as it just has enough room for 2 bikes

Be warned - the positioning of the arms requires a certain top tube length for your bike to fit. 1) no step through bikes, which is the same for any bike rack like this. 2) at least 48cm top tube - some of those XS frames wont have the front-back length to fit on here. If you meet those criteria, this rack is great. Its light weight, the arms fold down out of the way when not in use, bikes fit securely, and if you tighten the bolt at the bottom there is very little wobble. I replaced a 10yr old Yakima rack with this and have been using it consistently for 2 years without any issues.

Bought this rack today for my new bikes. Setup was fairly easy, some tools are needed. On the way home the rack did sway quite a bit, but no harm done.

This is an easy to use bike rack; easy to setup. Despite the cross bar and arms that support the bikes being made of plastic, this rack feels solid. The straps are stiff though and it can be difficult to get them started. Once the straps are started, they pull tight easily and stay tight. An adapter is needed for step through bikes. I didn't think that was obvious. There is nothing in the instructions about that either. I bought a Saris brand bar from a local shop. The rack does wobble back and forth while driving. That may just be the nature of the beast. We'll see how it holds up with time. We use it almost everyday for one bike. I'm comforted by the lifetime warranty. So far, so good.

Got this rack because it fit both a Toyota Prius C and a Chevy Equinox. i know! I was amazed too. Easy to put on both cars. Hangs on garage wall otherwise. Looks cool and get lots of comments. Yes the bikes sway, but they are secure. Only negative is when larger framed bike on rack on Prius and going up sudden steep grade (driveway and parking lot entrance), I think the tire may have touched! YIKES, so if you can demo it before purchase, do it. Also, zip locks securing the bike wheels to frame have been cut into by spokes on tires...worried it will be weak there and finish tearing. Also worried the plastic material of the zips is that which easily becomes fragile and breaks.(had snowboard bindings do so at the top of a run, start of the day. :-( )
