I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! It was easy to install. We also purchased the extra kit so we could hang 6 bikes. Works great. Cleared up space in our garage so now we can pull the car in.

I have never owned a garage bike storage system before and after installing this one, I am so completely impressed! The system is light, yet strong. The installation is a little tricky just making sure everything is lined up where it needs to be but once it was up it was so easy to load the bikes and get them out of the way to add each additional bike. We also bought the add-on to increase the capacity to 6 bikes without any problem.

My garage is sacred ground and this rack has allowed me to regain some of that ground by efficiently storing my bikes on the ceiling above an SUV. What else could that space be used for? The racks slide super smoothly over the tracks and I am even able to "mate" the bikes for maximum storage. After seeing how well the rack works I purchased an additional two bike rack holders which it can handle with no problems. Thanks Saris!

Overall its a well made and nice storage system. However it can be somewhat difficult to get bikes up and down from the rack. As noted in earlier reviews bike hooks rotate very easily while trying to hook bikes and also the glider wheels move too easily from side to side while trying to secure or remove bikes from the hooks. Would have been better to make them a bit more static and secure.

An excellent storage system in tight garages. I like the adjustability for all bike sizes and once the bikes are up, lots of movement to slide them front/back, side/side to keep things out of the way until needed. Lightweight. Mounting was fairly easy.

Overall its a great bike storage system. The mounting screws could have been better. I used larger moutning screw for extra safety. I was not comfortable with the ones provided by Saris. The bike hooks rotates and makes it hard to mount the bikes. I appled super glue to the hooks shaft to keep it from rotating around the glider wheels. Also the hooks slide from side to side easily which makes it difficult to hook the bikes. I had to adjust the hooks to fit each of my bikes and then I put duct tapes aroung each side of the hood to keep it from sliding. Now I have solid hooks and mounting my bikes has become a breeze.

It takes time to install the rack. Finding the studs and ensuring that the ceiling tracks are lined up correctly. Once the ceiling tracks are set, the remaining installation is a breeze. Be prepared to encounter unforeseen situations during installation :)

I have several strange bikes including a Rowbike, a recumbent bike, a racing bike and a mountain bike. Of course I also have a small garage. Every time I have to get something out, a bike has to be moved from the floor or the ceiling. Now I feel like I am moving "clothes". The bikes "effortlessly move from one side of the garage to the other to get to my bins in the back. Thank you Alan (New Jersey)
