This is a handy, light-weight bike rack that I use on a Honda Accord for my Specialized Crossroads 3.0. I store the rack in my car while I ride. It takes me less than 5 minutes to either install or remove the rack. I added two foot long velcro straps to secure the front wheel and the pedal to the arms of the rack. The bike feels solid on the rack whether driving on asphalt or gravel roads. Nice that it is a Wisconsin company! Highly recommend.

I was initially confused when I pulled out of the box, but after awhile I figured it out and I have been very pleased with it. I use it on my Mazda 3 hatchback. I have put it on and off my vehicle 3-4 times already and driven over 100 miles with my bike on it. So far so good!

I was hesitant on buying a trunk mount bike rack as I heard they never work. To my surprise this one works like a charm. Easy to install and it handles bumpy roads. I use it with two e-bikes

This is my second bones rack, both fit well first for my VW bug and now the Tiguan. Well made and securely attaches to vehicle so highway driving is a breeze.

Setup takes 10 to 15 minutes depending on vehicle and how the rack itself needs to be placed. Once that is done and you setup the straps so to balance the rack evenly. Literally sets up in less than 5 minutes after that it's so quick to do. Very well constructed and designed. The groove designed asures no slipping of the arms once in place. We bought this to transport our 2 bikes for our move from the east coast to Chicago. Installation onto our Mazda CX-5’s lift gate was pretty easy, an securing the bikes even simpler. We drove 800 miles without any issues. We are very happy with this product.

excellent product. easy to assemble and I have had no difficulty keeping it attached to back of my car. prompt delivery.

Bought this about a month ago. A little tricky to set up the first time. Would be helpful if they posted pictures for each car so you know how it’s supposed to look for your vehicle (they apparently have them since they test for each vehicle). Customer service was vey responsive. Road with the bike for 30 minutes at 55 mph and it didn’t budge. Used my own Velcro straps to hold front wheel from swaying. Would be nice if Saris included something for that.

Very sturdy design. I am very impressed. Good grip for the feet against the car. Easy to tighten the straps. A little cumbersome to adjust the legs to the correct position. But little issue if compared to the benefits of the sturdiness.

I use to have a bike rack that attached to my car hitch but when I got a new car it did not have a hitch and I didn't want to get one. I started looking for alternative racks and decided that a roof top wasn't going to work for me either and that's when I found the Saris Bones EX-2 rack. It was exactly what I wanted and it didn't disappoint. It is well made, very sturdy and easily attaches to the hatch of my Forester. Love it!
