When I’m in the woods, this vest is either on or packed in my ruck to be put on after I get up the tree. Great warmth, super quiet, and the pockets are perfect.
I like the fabric and zippers. It’s heavy, which I don’t mind but is noticeable. Overall if the sizing was better I’d give it 5 stars. As a guy with pieces of hunting apparel from 5 different main brands I can say this fit would be a large in any other. I’m 5’9 and 165 lbs and ordered a Medium for reference. It leaves alot of extra material in the mid section that bunches when seated.

Perfect for mid season and late season
Great piece for packing in and adding extra warmth in the stand. Super quiet and nice and warm. I typically wear a medium and that’s what I went with. Fits over my Kuiu encounter jacket perfectly

This is my third piece of COS. I hunt it in Arkansas so typically we don’t get majorly cold. I purchased the Verdigre system last year and loved it. We sometimes do have mornings in the 20’s so I was excited to add the vest for layering this winter. I layer FirstLite’s thickest base layer (tops and bottoms), with the vest under my Verdigre hoodie, and it is just about as comfortable as anyone could ever be in a deer stand. I can comfortably hunt from 25-60 degrees in COS gear now that I’ve got the vest, without having to have one of their heavy weight systems.

I will wear for more than hunting.
I’m always cold but love winter hunting; decided on this instead of the Sitka Fanatic Vest mainly because of the price. I have been so impressed. The Versa vest is so warm. There is less bulk than the Sitka Fanatic. It is a little weighty but I don’t mind it. I wear it over my windproof guide jacket with a thick baselayer and I’m warm enough to bowhunt in the 30’s. Absolutely happy with my choice. Will buy more layers from COS down the road.
Great vest. Kept me warm with just light weight base layers, a pair of Kuhl pants and a core mid weight zip-t in 45 degree weather.
Great vest, the camo doesn’t get any better than this, quiet and warm. Collar comes up a tad high on me but it’s shorter than most. The harness pass through hole is way to small can’t fit my caribiner through it. Overall nice vest
