Great fit and comfortable. Put this to the test out trolling for walleyes and a cold front rolled through with a 20 degree temp drop. Not only did this keep me warm but blocked that brutal north wind

The Whitewater Tamer Jacket was an absolute winner! I was able to use this in many different weather changes over a 5 day fishing trip and it worked flawlessly in every one of them. It kept me warm with layers in the morning and dry as the weather started to turn. We hit some consistent rain during a stretch and this jacket was able to keep me completely dry. It is very updated in fit and look. Not like your traditional fishing jackets being baggy and loose, the athletic fit worked great. Excited to see what Whitewater comes out with next as I will definitely be keeping a close eye on. Great jacket!

Loved the first one that I bought for myself so i bought two more as gifts!

This jacket fits perfect. The wind proof material and water sheds off quickly. I love everything about it. The flexibility while casting is awesome.

Wore the Tamer Soft Shell jacket and bibs for a week on Lake Erie. Cold mornings with mild afternoons and some light rain. The Tamer performed wonderfully. Kept me comfortable the whole time. Love the flex and fit.

Had the chance to wear this jacket for the last month or so on the water. I love the stretch it has no matter if I'm just unloading the boat or fishing. It's been super comfortable fish as well. Ever to the point I've worn it out now not just for fishing. Highly recommend.

I have put this jacket through some tests alrady this year since it came out. There was some serious thought that had to have gone into this design. Starting with comfort: Super comfortable, works great for on the boat or fishing the streams Waterproof: Fished 4 hours in the rain opening day of trout season in PA, I was dry as a bone Wind resistance: I fished in 15-30 mph cold march winds and it havent even noticed the wind breaking through the jacket. Windproof is definitely a strong factor for this jacket. Overall, if I had one complaint, I wish it came in more colors!

Really needed a warmer solution for my early season fishing. Was super impressed by the stretch - and haven't found anything this nice. Great wind protection - will be using all the time when I am not facing hard rain - it will shed most all moisture I am in. Thanks to Whitewater.

Just wore the Tamer Jacket in extreme spring fishing conditions for a week. First thing that comes to mind…unreal comfort. I was very impressed at how it eliminates all of the wind and with the thin thermal layer provided warmth also in below freezing temps. This piece is great for a layer in cold weather and will be my go to for an outer layer as things warm up in the year for brisk mornings!

I've been wearing this item during some pretty tough conditions. Rain, wind, cold, and I've owned many softshell brands before. None have compared to the Tamer. This material is way different, with a stretchiness that lends itself perfectly to fishing. Casting and all of the kneeling and moving around the boat is a breeze. My new favorite piece.
