The card reader works perfect you don't need an app to use it. I plug it in my phone the USB symbol pops up I open DCIM and go through the pictures

Bought this to check trail cameras. It only shows a few pictures. I had 41 pictures but could only view 8. The rest did not download. I tried a different card reader and was able to view all pictures.

No app for this to use with Android won't work it did last year.

Not sure why everyone seems to think you need some special app to view your files. Hopefully this helps some people....1. Plug the device into your android device, 2.click on Google (where it shows you their different apps, Gmail, docs, mail etc) 3. From the Google menu, click on files, you should get a list of options that hold files on your phone. 4. Click on location external memory/sd.card 5. Navigate through until you see recordings. Depending on your cam, you should find your pics and vids there. Good luck, hope this helps, this little guy has been the easiest device I've found to view my dash cam videos.

Works great. I like the way it works plug and play with android phone no issues. Would like to purchase an adapter that connects the reader to the phone. lost one of those little buggers cant find that little adapter any where.

I will be honest. I thought it was junk until I read the first good review. I could not get it to work. But it was so simple. Just putting the reader into my phone did not work. When I put the card into the reader then the reader into my phone I brought down notifications and there it was. I opened the SD card and could see all of my pics.

Bought this several years ago and has always worked great. Made checking cameras quick and easy. But recently had to replace my phone which now uses the USB-C port so this reader is no longer compatible with my new phone. Would love to see WildGame Innovations make one with the USB-C port since all the newer phones are going to those!

Don't give up. I was about to install the app but decided to check the card reader reviews first. Glad I did. I have a Samsung j7. Basic Cheapo. 7yrs old. It took a while to figure it out, but I got. And I am far from a techie. Device maintenance/storage/etc is where I made it happen.

This works better than a reader with display but the adapter sleeve came off and won't go back on. Still works but fragile now. Can I get a replacement?

I bought this two years ago and still going strong. Its small and very convenient in the field. A must have to review trail camera pictures. It would be nice to have a USC C adapter with this.
