This Item came in "Very Sharp" & Is a Great Addition to My Gear , i have only ran it thru some basic tasks No Hard Use as of Yet , but the Finish is Good & I Reccomend this Product , to Use it on an AR , Adaptors are Available -

This is a sharp and solid blade. I don't see me using it as a Bayonet due to its weight but it is a Bad A$$ Blade. Love it.

The BAR15T is honestly kind of silly. It’s big and heavy and not terribly useful—but it’s also an awesomely huge tanto that makes no apologies for discarding practicality in favor of awesomeness. And you really can use it as a bayonet. Here’s why I question its usefulness: it’s a very wide blade with a flat grind, so there is a TON of meat behind the edge. It came pretty dull out of the box so I spent time sharpening it. It’s still terrible at slicing because the edge geometry is so thick. It’s made for toughness and nothing else. I would’ve preferred a hollow grind on the main edge and flat grind on the tip edge—keep the stabby part thick and the slicey part thinner. The sheath isn’t great. You can hang it from a belt but there’s no MOLLE attachment, which is a baffling oversight given its target market and price. You can take off the belt attachment but then you lose the only handle strap and the sheath won’t hold the blade securely without it. Again, baffling. The Trident FX’s sheath is vastly superior. I love SOG and I’m glad I picked this up because it looks cool. But it’s not actually good at most knife tasks. The Trident FX comes in a tanto and is far more useful.

Very well made. great weight. Could be a little bit sharper, but nothing I can't finish up myself. Love it.

Beautiful knife actually the quality definitely exceeded my expectations would like to see this blade made into a lighter version for self defense hand to hand combat also serrations could be a great addition to this design

It is quite hefty/durable. Problem is that the bayonet mount/lock has too much wiggle room.

Very sturdy well made will not break or bend I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bayonet.
