Was looking for a tanto fixed blade for my son’s bday and couldn’t really find anything I liked and because I’ve bought from you before it came up on my email and there it was he’s going to be very happy with the blade
Very well crafted and sturdy. Love the color and the way it feels.
I don't know what to say about this other than 5 stars because it's cool. Am I likely to ever fix bayonets for trench warfare? Probably not. But did I mention how cool this is?
Very well made bayonet. It is heavier than a standard type but the feel is solid. As with other bayonets, it will fit best on the heavily barrels best. The fit and finish is what I expect from SOG. The sheath is rugged and well built. Very pleased with my purchase.
This bayonet is an absolute freight train. Did I mention that it is a tanto blade? Yeah. It has a tanto blade, in a bayonet. Way cooler than anything you can pick up at your local gun show. How come you do not have one? I do not even have a rifle with bayonet lugs and I still have one!
Does not mount to mossberg 590 milspec.shotgun. otherwise nice knife.
Love the look and feel of this Tanto Bayonet in my hand. It's hefty for sure, but that screams quality. A few points of interest for others: 1. The bayonet needs a 'lug extender/adapter' as it is designed for an M16 barrel length of 20 inches (most AR-15s are 16" in length), so w/o the extender, the Bayonet will not function as designed (loose around the barrel and not secured around the muzzle break); 2. The retention strap should be one piece, where the button connects to the sheath (M9). As it stands now, the strap buttons to itself (around the handle) and the strap can get in the way of securing the knife and two, it may require two hands to snap closed; and 3. Really wish there was a sharpening stone built into sheath. Maybe you could offer the Lug Extender or note in the description that this is designed for a 20" barrel. Again, it's a BIG knife. So big in fact that it will not fit on my chest rig, when fully kitted out.
