Very sharp and blade durability is great. I personally enjoy the weight it has, some may think it's too heavy. The grip is great, your hands could be covered in oil and it will not leave your hand even when cutting. After a little use, the single hand opening is very smooth. Overall a great knife.
Great for the backpack or EDC in a coat pocket. Have wanted the SEAL XR for some time and snatched on a promo. Glad I did, so much better than my other 4" folder.
I bought this knife so I would have kind of a in the pocket breaching tool. I haven’t run into a situation where I could use it as one but after carrying it and holding it I think it’s just what I want. I’m sure it will also work well in self defense.
Largest folding pocket knife I own. Love it! What's that Crocodile Dundee saying? lol
It's safe and durable. The perfect pocket knife for every day or outdoor use.
I would definitely recommend it. High quality albeit pricey.
Very smooth to open very fast. Fits well in my hand
Everything about this knife is excellent. It may be one of the most comfortable knifes in the hand and it's construction is solid all the way around. The locking mechanism is excellent and can be unlocked and folded much easier than a liner lock.
Got this for my son on Christmas now after seeing it I’m going to order one for me!

These knives are the best. Heavily built. Can’t break them. I have two serrated and one non serrated. I wear one every day. They may be a little heavy for some folks but totally durable. Buy this one if you are looking for heavy duty. Good job SOG!!!
