I've owned 2 of these and I swear it is legitimately one of the best folders you can buy I'm about to buy my third only because the last 2 were lost and heavily abused but never failed highly recommend

I have a few of these. I’ve only ever needed one it’s such a good knife. Feels great and looks great, and stays pretty sharp.

Razor sharp, sturdy, comfortable grip, great weight!

I absolutely love this knife! I’ve bought a few SOG products already, but this is the one that sold me. The thumb stud is ever so slightly hard to reach, but the bearing system is so smooth, the fielder opens like butter. Smooth consistency until you hear that satisfying “click”, yet very deliberate! The blade holds a fairly nice edge, and sharpens easily. This knife is one of my favorite EDC pocket knives, AND amongst the cheapest of my entire collection.

I have had this knife for 10 years and it's still an absolute beast. Great for every adventure. I have put this knife through ringer and it's still my #1 for work adventure or daily carry.

It opens so easily. It’s got nice weight to the handle. It’s part of my every day carry.

Okay first of all my fielder is an older model with a the pocket clip that mounts on the end of the handle not the front as shown. And it says SOG on the clip. A dear friend gave this to me as a Christmas present. Its my everyday carry at work. Blade stays sharp “with occasional sharpening “ solid knife. Firm to open with thumb. I personally don't like the new pocket clip design. Mine is spring assist not sure about new ones though. No complaints on the cost.

A solid knife that looks good and comes shaving sharp from the factory. The last Fielder I bought (I own several) had a defective thumb stud. It looked alright when I bought it at a store and took it home. I finally opened the package a couple weeks later (after losing the receipt) and the thumb stud popped right off when I tried to open the knife. The stud seemed to have been deformed on the end that fits into the blade hole; there's no way it could have been successfully riveted into place. I guess the riveting process pressed the stud against the blade hard enough to make the stud stick in place until I tried to use it. Rather than go through the hassle of warranty service, I planned to use the knife as a two-handed-opening daily driver. Then in a flash of inspiration I ran a tiny zip tie through the blade hole. While a bit rougher on the thumb than a real steel thumb stud, it works adequately well and allows one-handed operation. Anyway, I'm not a fan of riveted thumb studs now, but I'm sure this was a fluke and it does not diminish my rating. This knife is an excellent value. Only problem is, the knife looks too good to my collector's eye. I've had trouble convincing myself to actually start USING the thing.

This is a fine knife, always handy and safe for old fingers to use. The quality is great and the price is beyond great.
