I purchased 2 of the these Tomahawks about 2 and half years ago. One of the tomahawks is in my bugout bag and the other is keeped next to my desk. The one next to my desk has been used for chopping branches and other cutting duties in yard work without missing a beat. Both Tomahawks came with a very well done edge that was I able to turn into a Razor Sharp edge.
A little too top heavy compared to the traditional hawks that I have. A hawk needs to be light and swift.
I have been using this hawk for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it! I also have the Base camp Axe but keep coming back to this guy for everything other than chopping and splitting larger logs. I use the pick for digging and occasionally use the checkered hammer on the side. It came sharp and the edge stays sharp .
As many have said it seems tough and well made except for the sheath. I'm going to do the quick polack fix and cut an opening in the opposite side and this way here the weak snaps are on top and it can't fall out. A few well placed pop rivets should do the trick to hold it together. Who said us placks are..... ;)

This tomahawk is amazing. The metal head is very durable and can easily be used to clear small trees. This axe has no problem tearing stuff up either! The smaller end of the head rips right through sheet metal! Even though I have yet to throw it and successfully stick it into a tree it surpasses my expectations by far.
