Nice weight but VERY difficult to close. I can imagine that being a worry if you’re in a difficult position.

Have had mine for a year an never failed me yet, it's so nice not worrying about it closing on you it's not gonna happen. A great any occasion knife.

I watched a couple of videos that reviewed this knife, and they had their pros and cons. Give me a break, there are no cons. Show me another knife in this category that comes close to the strength and price point of this one.

I’ve had my smaller Bushman for some time. Stays very sharp and rides in my motorcycle boot without complaining. The lock is so amazingly strong one needs caution when closing! Not a bad thing. In a tight situation, this knife would make an excellent spear point duct taped to a broom handle. “Pocket” could be stretching a mite, it’s not a small knife.

wow… been wanting to see a stamped-formed handle for years in a rugged folder for years!!! bravo for the lock innovation. very affordable!! i don’t listen to those bling rednecks who maintain that one handed opening is a must… you got two hands use them! as a designer and ex military man ( canadian combat engineer) this is my goto knife. sharpens easy, gets sharp and stays sharp. i built a little patina with acid on the handle just to mute it down a bit.

consistent with the video reviews: tough, very sharp, a fixed blade that folds. Substantial, not too pretty, most useful.

had same knife for ten years loved it finally broke tip needed new one immediately

I’ve had the knife for several years. I use the knife to prepare deer hides for salting and shipping It works well for removing fat and flesh from the hides. The knife is in use daily from late Oct to early January.
