Nice piece for the money. Takes a little bit getting used to but definitely better than a baseball bat. Fun to play around with. No regrets with this one.
I bought this years ago when it had the short peg instead of the newer longer spike, id love to have a spike as well, its a very useful tool to add to any arsenal of melee defense items, ill probably wrap the handle for a better grip later on, overall great product.
Well made, but VERY heavy. Probably not a good one handed weapon, unless you're a VERY brawny fellow. Spike is thankfully removeable, it's screwed in, but is still a bit difficult to remove. Spike is simple wrong for this sort of weapon IMO. And it would be nice if ColdSteel offered a lighter version of this club. It needs to be a LOT lighter IMO because it's supposed to be used as a one handed weapon like the tomahawk.
This item was delivered today, so like I do with all my knives and weapons, tested it. All was going fine until I smashed a cinderblock. And some things happened. My hand vibrated like crap, the tip completely broke off, and it barely did any damage. The weird thing is though, I didn't even hit the cinderblock with the tip, I hit it on the side. The spike flew so quickly that I didn't even see it, I had to leave the scene, go back home, put the video into my computer, and see where the spike went. For some reason, the spike flew off even when I didn't even hit the spike
I love this thing. I have the gunstock as well and they are both fantastic

You can't unscrew the spike... i wouldn't have purchased and returning is a pain.
J’suis tanné. It's real good, but I'm still trying to figure off a good road of the woodgrain stain to reproduce before I decorate it, but it's definite a good re-enactment tool to my mind.
