Magpul Daka Essential Wallet Reviews

The small profile is a nice change from the standard bifold wallet. It can hold my ID’s, two cards, and a little cash without stressing the seams. Time will tell how it holds up in the long run.

Not worth returning the material on the corners shred little hairs and feels cheap

I bought this and the video says it is made in the USA. When I received the product it says made in China.

I live these wallets. I've given them to friends, brothers and my dad. I have carried the gray Essential Wallet for years. The only suggestion I would give is to offer it in the bright DAKA colors. If you drop a subdued wallet in your car you can easily miss it when looking for it. Even bright orange in the offset layers would make it more easily found. I really just want a reason to buy another one. They last forever!

After many years in my pocket it was time to replace my DAKA Essential Wallet. No complaints with the first one so I replaced it with another Essential Wallet. The first wallet had the outer colored layer separate after a few years but it still worked fine. After a few more years of use the layers began separating more so I retired it.

I have had mine for aprox 4 months and it’s started coming apart at the seams literally. I only carry one debit card, my dept ID, and two credit cards so it’s not like it was stuffed. Big disappointment from MagPul.

Exactly what I wanted in a minimalist wallet with no gimmicks and great Magpul quality.

Nothing is perfect this is close cards fit tightly maybe just a little too great product though we will see long term test

Bought this shortly after Christmas and after 2 weeks the bottom seam split. Carried my ID, FOID, 2 credit cards and a membership card w no cash in the wallet. It wasn’t expensive but I expected higher quality from a reputable brand like Magpul.
