I don't believe there is another option anywhere close to the price that competes with the Burris RT6/Fastfire 3 package. Very good quality glass, adjustments, and reticle. You can do better, but you will pay significantly more money for a little bit better quality. Very functional, thoroughly pleased.

Mounted this on my AR, it creates an optimal optic system for both close range and distance applications. Highly recommend.

I put this on my patrol rifle (Daniel Defense AR). The department had a dozen different options we could use. This one was recommended by a few guys that are armorers for the department. I was told, during testing for use on duty, they beat the crap out of their test model and it just wouldn’t quit. That, along with the word of mouth recommendation, was a huge selling point for me. I ordered the package and got it in less than a week. Mounted it and hit the range to sight it in. Was super impressed with clarity of glass. I like the reticle options and the 1 x 6 is perfect for patrol work. The added FastFire red dot is an excellent addition that allows for quick transitions for CQB and entry situations. I did remove it from the top of the scope and put it in a 45 degree offset at the end of the scope. This allows me to keep a more stable shooting platform and just cant the rifle slightly and I am right on target. Some might not mind, or even like, the 4 inch or so off set with the red dot on top but I did not. But the package deal of a very nice scope with a (so far) dependable red dot at the price point on this site was an exceptional find.

This platform is perfect for operators because of its versatility. From entry assignments to long range target acquisition, Burris has engineered a perfect solution. The red dot is fast for rapid dynamic entry and the X1-6 magnification increases confidence when observing, searching and locating distant targets. This package is easy to zero and compact. In addition, it reduces the need for field level equipment alterations.

I love the Fast fire 3 -- so much so that I have five. Three have the 8 MOA dot; two have the 3 MOA dot. I shoot four IDPA matches a month and from one to five (depending on season) Steel matches monthly. Why five? Because the first and second worked so well, why buy anything else? The auto brightness setting works well, but sometimes I manually turn it down to deal with my astigmatism. My problem, not Burris's. The batteries last forever. I have no negatives to report at all.

The clarity of this optic is excellent. The tracking on the adjustments is accurate. The illumination has a great range, faint enough in low light to not wash out the target and strong enough in bright light to be seen (although the reticle with no illumination is sufficient.) the red dot on top is very handy. The PEPR mount functions very well.

This scope is fantastic. That legendary Burris glass combined with red dot for close range gives me a dual purpose weapon experience. Highly recommend if this is what you are looking for.

Outstanding optic. Glass is astonishingly clear for the price. True 1x on low magnification. 4x magnification is perfect for rapid target acquisition at short to medium ranges, and can easily be shot with both eyes open even on maximum magnification. The magnification dial turns smoothly, and the illuminated reticle is plenty bright for full daylight use. Cannot say enough good things about this optic and Burris in general. Highly recommend.

I bought this 7 months ago put it on my 9 mm XD Elite compact I put probably 2 to 3,000 rounds to it and absolutely no issues stay dead on zero I love it
