Page 5 of 11 - Burris FastFire 3 Red Dot Reviews

Overall best optic at this price point. Well built and great warranty.

Crisp, clear optics with the ability to transition to the red dot for close quarters targets. Exceptional value for the cost.

Glass and quality is more than expected is slightly heavier than advertised.

BC is G2G

When I ordered this optic I was laid up with a major ankle fracture, so I wasn’t able to get to the range for a long time. While being stuck on my couch I spent a bit of time familiarizing myself with its intricacies, and all went great sighting it in today. The BZO from 25 required a single adjustment left, and the 100 required an additional correction left and down. I zero on steel, so I can’t say an exact grouping size, but 3 rounds from 100 left a quarter size mark.

The scope itself is a great selection for an LPVO, on par with the Vortex Strike Eagle, but I’d give the edge to Burris for glass quality. The reticle is simple and easy to use. The fact that this package comes with the cantilever mount and the piggybacked RDS makes this a no brainer. The RDS sits a little high, but if you’ve got an NVG setup it would be perfect as a backup 1x optic.

Good glass, good eye relief good mount

I have two of these on other firearms and they are dependable. Installation was straightforward and sighting in was easy.

Mounted this on a AR 6.5 Grendel build. Was exactly what I was looking for. Clear glass, with up close and personal to extended range capabilities. Considering buying another. Can't beat the price!

Great optic for all your medium/close range needs. I have been very happy with it and it has held its zero (for the most part) after a few hundred rounds and being tossed around. It is currently on my POF Revolution chambered in .308 where it does it’s job well. Adjusting is also smooth as butter as it is very easy to get a good zero fast. I’m looking forward to putting it under more stress and seeing the results.
