It is solid and fits well in your hand. The brightness is great, nice beam.

Nice light with decent throw and multiple levels. Given the choice, go with the slim but the compact is a good little light

Best Flashlight. This light is super bright and easy to recharge

Nice bright, compact flashlight. And you can recharge it and save on lots of batteries.

Best Light I have ever used. So bright! It does get hot, but that is not an issue.

Expensive flashlight. It's bright, but it's expensive. I love Smith and Wesson!

Perfect light. Very Bright and easy to adjust. Being rechargeable is a real game changer. The adjustments work very well and are easy to use. Best light ever.

Solid flashlight. Very compact, rugged, and bright.

I purchased two M&P Night Terror Compact lights. At first uses, I was extremely impressed at the brightness of light, amazing in fact! I would gladly give this review a 5 but one of the two lights arrived with (1) the charging port cover not installed, which requires me to handle it carefully when out in the rain, and (2) this particular unit periodically ceases to function, without warning, even when the "fuel gauge" shows full. Function does restore only if I place the unit back on the charger ... but why was the "fuel gauge" showing full? I don't know. I don't depend on this unit for safety so, instead, just use for dog walking close to home. The other unit I take to the woods with no trouble.

Works as advertised. Very good flashlight. I recommend it for those that want some seriously bright light.
