Page 3 of 15 - Magpul PMAG AR/M4 Gen M3 Reviews

Great product. Proven function.

Same quality I expect from Magpul, love the new ODG color! One suggestion, make a D60 with the same square pattern that matches my Radian ADAC15 lower.

I bought 7 each 30 round OD Green PMAG’s and 1 each 20 round OD Green PMAG. 7 magazines are a combat load and the shorter 20 round magazine is great for every day carry. (EDC) I also bought the Ranger Base Plates and Impact/Dust covers. The base plates insure the magazine bounces when doing a drop on hard surfaces for quick change and also orientation when dark (train!) The Impact/Dust covers help keep dust and debris out of the magazines and also keep pressure off the magazine lips. They also are useful to disassemble and maintain your magazines. (and M4/AR15) I bought my first 7 PMAGs from a post exchange (PX) in Iraq, and have never looked back. This is my third combat load of PMAGs. These magazines are literally life savers!

Love Pmags but OD is not OD. More like light black.

Great mags all around. This is the only brand I carry. Never had one fail, easy to take apart, pull springs, add tension, and go again. Easy to load. They work.

I had heard so many good things about these Gen M3 mags, but I was really disappointed. I took them to the range on Sunday, and I could not get themto feed reliably. I'm going to have to figure something out or send them back. I was using federal 5.56 and a new RF-15 SOCOM. I have seen mixed reviews of the RF-15, but the steel mag that came with it ran flawlessly.

These are perfect for ar15s of any manufacturer. They load easily, fit easily and work as expected with no fail to fire. These are plastic, but to be honest they feel better than stock steel ones.

Fantastic as always. Boringly reliable and great value as always.

These are much more quiet and much more durable than the original gi. These are all I use.

Gen 2 mags heading issues that left me uncomfortable with running them. Replaced all issued magazines with Gen 3. Quite happy
