I expected much more from SPYPOINT. The FLEX-DARK takes average photos at best and produces far too many false triggers from heat, sunlight, or vegetation, quickly burning through the free photo transmissions. The biggest disappointment is the misleading marketing around Photo on Demand. It’s advertised in a way that makes you believe it’s available, only to discover it’s locked behind the more expensive solar model—even though the cameras are essentially the same. It feels like a deliberate attempt to push customers into spending more for software-enabled features. Between the false detections and the feature restrictions, I regret buying this camera and will be looking at other brands for my next purchase

First off, I’d like to say nearly every spypoint camera I’ve heard have issues either run AA’s or LIT22’s, I’ll say running nearly every spypoint camera I have off of the Spypoint 5W Solar Panel and the firmware up to date there is ZERO issues. I have an original Flex that’s been running non-stop for 3 years. Now onto the Flex-Dark, this camera is awesome! I love the No-Glow feature and it has minimized spooking game. I’ve noticed they don’t look at the camera near as much as the G-36’s and Flex-Plus’. The flash is great a night and HD videos are top notch! I also have 5 Flex-S Dark’s and I love the instant feature on those as well. I do have AA’s or LIT22’s in each of them just for backup but the solar panels stay charged as long as they are facing south. I highly recommend using solar panels with all the non spypoint solar panel cameras, they will run indefinitely and issue free as long as they are kept up to date as well.

Underwhelmed by these cameras. Takes photos of nothing but misses vehicles I bought two flex darks. They will take photos of nothing but misses vehicles. Sometimes there’s a photo every minute with nothing but trees. Settings are on low & it sometimes takes one every 1-2 minutes. Sometimes you’ll get the very end of a vehicle or a dust trail behind it. Had high hopes for this product but it was a waste of time & money. I have to review thousands of photos that it shouldn’t be taking.

these cameras are absolute pieces of garbage. I’ve purchased 10 spypoint cameras over the last 5 years. Not a single one has lasted an entire year. Every time you try to submit a warranty claim Spypoint makes up some excuse why it isn’t covered under warranty. Buy literally any other brand!

If you think this is a camera you can throw in your backpack, hike into your spot, set up the camera, and have it work I think you’ll be disappointed. I am not sure if it’s the antenna or poor software but 50% of the time with these cameras I never get pictures. Iv tried changing the sync time and selecting “take a picture at next sync” but that doesn’t work and my communication time doesn’t update on the camera so I know it’s not talking to the camera. Picture quality on the pictures I did get was good. I am not the only one having this issue leading me to believe SpyPoints build quality and software sucks. SpyPoint’s website also sucks case in point they don’t allow nicknames that have already been used. Apparently they don’t think more than one person is named Tyler now I have to come up with some random name.

Recently purchased the flex dark series, for the minimum to low glow flash when capturing photos at nighttime! Once I received my camera the setup of the camera was super simple and started taking photos in no time in the woods! The low glow flash really is working well while taking crisp photos and not putting animals on high alert when taking night time shots. I will definitely be adding more of these cameras to my arsenal

I had a flex m that worked for a month then completely stopped working then I had a horrible time getting ahold of spy point tons of back and fourth and getting disconnected finally got ahold of someone and all they did was give me a month free for a camera that didn’t even work! Finally a higher up got back to me and sent me a brand new dark series which was awesome then of course this one worked for two months and a paid for the top subscription and it stopped working it keeps corrupting the spy point as cards that they recommend. Then shortly after the brand new stopped working my other spy point link micro decided to also stop working every spy point camera I’ve had is JUNK! And they do nothing to help you out except send you another crappy camera that last two months would not recommend ever! Don’t waste your time with spy point grab a different brand cell cam and save yourself the headache! Oh and of course we can’t leave reviews in Canada so I had to use the us website

I’ve got 2 of these cameras out in the woods and they do not disappoint! The camera has great photo and video quality. The app has a ton of great features as well! Highly recommend this camera

I love my Flex Darks! They have the same great photo quality and trigger speed as the other Flex cameras. Now that deer season is here I will be swapping my Darks to No Glow to avoid deer seeing them at night.

I just received this camera a few days ago and the setup was easy as it gets.
