Page 3 of 15 - Burris One-Piece Tactical Scope Mount Reviews

I put this on my patrol rifle (Daniel Defense AR). The department had a dozen different options we could use. This one was recommended by a few guys that are armorers for the department. I was told, during testing for use on duty, they beat the crap out of their test model and it just wouldn’t quit. That, along with the word of mouth recommendation, was a huge selling point for me. I ordered the package and got it in less than a week. Mounted it and hit the range to sight it in. Was super impressed with clarity of glass. I like the reticle options and the 1 x 6 is perfect for patrol work. The added FastFire red dot is an excellent addition that allows for quick transitions for CQB and entry situations. I did remove it from the top of the scope and put it in a 45 degree offset at the end of the scope. This allows me to keep a more stable shooting platform and just cant the rifle slightly and I am right on target. Some might not mind, or even like, the 4 inch or so off set with the red dot on top but I did not. But the package deal of a very nice scope with a (so far) dependable red dot at the price point on this site was an exceptional find.

This platform is perfect for operators because of its versatility. From entry assignments to long range target acquisition, Burris has engineered a perfect solution. The red dot is fast for rapid dynamic entry and the X1-6 magnification increases confidence when observing, searching and locating distant targets. This package is easy to zero and compact. In addition, it reduces the need for field level equipment alterations.

I didn’t wanna shell out the money for a Reptilia, so I tried this out. I’ve shot probably 500 rounds through my .308 where this is mounted, and it works perfect for what I’m using neither of my optics have lost zero. I use this mount to piggyback my red dot.

The clarity of this optic is excellent. The tracking on the adjustments is accurate. The illumination has a great range, faint enough in low light to not wash out the target and strong enough in bright light to be seen (although the reticle with no illumination is sufficient.) the red dot on top is very handy. The PEPR mount functions very well.

This scope is fantastic. That legendary Burris glass combined with red dot for close range gives me a dual purpose weapon experience. Highly recommend if this is what you are looking for.

Excellent scope for the price. A little bit of "fish eye" on the lower power. For the money, a great package.

This mount is solid, but it does have a little heft to it. I really like that it comes with picatinny and smooth ring caps. I haven't pulled it off the rifle so I can't speak to the return to zero. Overall, you're getting a very solid mount for the price you pay. I rate the value of this item to be high.

Although rather excellent, you will / may need to mount backwards as the ring position is too far forward. Wish ring position was 1/2 to an 1in, backwards for better eye relief.

I purchased this to mount a scope on my AR-15 for my son to take deer hunting. Works as expected. After a season of use, I did not notice any issues and held the scope as aniticipated.

Clean Glass! Love it and would highly recommend this optic. I have it mounted on my primary AR-15, you can go to work up at close ranges and you can reach out to further distances, if need be, because of the 1-6x. This was my first LPVO ever and anyone can use this.
