I like the zoom range, the AO parallax range, and the smaller objective lens size - see more details on this below. This is probably the best scope available for rifles that shoot at 700 FPS or less, or routinely used for shooting at 100-feet or less.
Nothing! I'm very surprised this isn't the most popular scope PA sells. Peanut gallery comment: why bother with the more expensive Illuminated Reticle (IR) version of this scope?
Many air rifles now come with a 4-12x40 scope (or just a straight 4x). Why? It's a lot easier to offhand shoot at 2x than 4x. If you need 4x or more, you have it available, plus the 2x gives you a much wider field of view. Next: we all know that an adjustable Objective (AO) is necessary for air rifle shooting distances. Contrary to what PA says; my Hawke 2-7x32 has a minimum parallax adjustment of 15-feet, which is great for shooting indoors. Finally: while 40mm and 50mm objective lenses look cool (and are great for dim conditions), they can cause an exit pupil problem in brighter conditions. The smaller 32mm objective lens doesn't let in as much light, so the exit pupil "black cloud" effect is much less under typical daylight conditions. Another peanut gallery comment: PA reports that this has a wire reticle. In my experience, wire reticles can be fragile in magnum springers. Hawke's Airmax line is probably better for these.
Focus is good
Field of eye is not good. Eye position has to be just right otherwise black edges/spots fill the scope. Its not good.

If you want a great scope buy Hawke you will start shooting accurate.
Very clear glass for a scope in this price range. Holds up to springer recoil. Parallax adjustment is perfect for an air rifle. Adjustments are tight, and hold well. An excellent and affordable all-purpose airgun scope.

This is my first Hawke product, and I'm very pleased with it. It's the perfect scope for my Weihrauch HW50S. Lightweight yet very durable, and holds a zero perfectly. A great value for the money.
I just bought a Diana Chaser, I wanted something small to match the gun so I tried this and I'm glad I did. It's the perfect size from a smaller air rifle or pistol with rifle stock (22xx,13xx,880, etc.). I'm use to my UTG 3-12x44/30mm Compact so this is a change to say the least. The glass isn't as clear as my UTG but its close and a lot lighter/more compact. I think It might be my new favorite if it holds up.

The parallax is off by a little bit which is common at this price point. Always check your parallax yourself. 1) set the AO at the range you think you're sitting at. 2)keep the rifle still. 3) look at your target and move your head around a little bit. If the crosshairs move then the AO(parallax) isn't set at the right range. This does not mean you have a bad scope. It means the distance markings are a little off or you're not at the distance you think you are. I haven't had a sub $200 yet that hasn't been off by a little bit.
Huge fan of Hawke scopes. Great value.

Really is a great scope for those of us that do pesting under 50 yards and want lighter weight scopes.

an adequate well made scope for my Diana model 52. it is specific for air gun use, so it should work well. easy to finger twist adjusters under the caps.
nothing, it does what it does well.
get high mounts, use a one piece mount if gun and rail permit. if money is no object, a lighted reticle scope is better to have if you shoot black targets.

Size and price. Mounted on a Gamo Shadow and is working well.
Power ring is too stiff. Also have the 4X12X40, it has the same issue.
Good scope for the price if you can deal with the one flaw.
