The price was good. It has performed well. I put this on my first PCP the Maximus and am loving the match up. The clearity is good. The tracking of the turrets is positive and am able to make fine adjustments. When I bought this there was no reviews and I could not find any information on the web other than I believe that Air Vanturi imports them. I am pleased that I did pick this scope. The only thing that one could want more of is field of view, but for the money this is good. Would love to have bumper sticker with the logo (the mantis over the scope) to put on the truck.
For the price. Nothing.
I would like to know were the mil dots are true at. So that I may use some of the apps like Chairgun to help with longer shots and incline.
I like the reticle and the turrets. It seemed quite nice at first.
The quality, even at the expense of price.
I got this scope at part of a bundle. It seemed fine until today. Today, whilst shooting my rather new Diana 350 Magnum, the view was blocked by something inside the scope. I suspect the erector tube is messed up. Upon further inspection I noticed it rattled as well. I think I am done with the Mantis line of optics. I will be contacting Pyramid as soo as possible for warranty coverage.

perfect scope for a pumper not that it wouldn't handle SOME recoil from a springer it will

cant remember if its springer rated or not but it handles my ruger air mag just fine must have gotten a good one. HA HA there all good.
A durable scope that withstands magnum springer recoil, and holds a zero.

I bought the Mantis 4-12x40 in a package deal with the Diana 350 Magnum in .22 cal. Around 500 rounds through the 350 and the Mantis is holding up perfectly. So far it's an excellent springer rated budget AO scope. Great glass for the money.

Perfect size for my needs magnification is great this is the second one iv bought, maby not from PA but whatever fit & finish are great & the glass is clear turrets track well with no scope lag (cross hairs move with the clicks shooting vice confirmed )
not a change but how about one in c a m o would be nice I have the perfect airgun for one he he.
just be glad it doesn't come with flip up scope caps (useless on ao scopes ) says its not magnum springr rated mine has been holding there own on a Diana 460 mag & a ruger air mag in 22 cal over 6 months now both going strong

Vertical range is extremely limited. My purchase turned out to be a very expensive mistake for me. I usually don't give 1 star reviews but I am very, very sorry I bought this item based on the spec's and reviews given in the description.

GREAT SCOPE BUYING A SECOND
Good scope so far. It has worked well enough that when offered on sale, I purchased a second one.
The clicks to adjust the elevation and windage are vague. It is difficult to count the clicks.
Mounting this model did not work well with my Hatsan 95 .25 cal. The scope is so large and heavy, it broke the separate factory scope stop installed on the gun. Bent it up into an accordion then sheared off the fasteners holding it down. However, it has worked well on my Diana 34 with the one piece RWS mount.

It works as it should, never had this brand before but I like it.
Nothing peculiar except the type of adjustments for L/R n Up/down. I liked the others with lockers.
You can use it on a Gamo 1400 Big Cat like I found out, hold on tight to your guns!
