Page 2 of 10 - Gamo Cone Pellet Trap, Collapsible Reviews

Yes.. its a bit smaller but built like a tank. Excellent for the Average Back Yard Plinker. Came with the Gamo Paper Targets which are great stock backing.

Design is fine. Needs various tables to elevate to the proper height for shooting at. I use an old TV Table.

Still waiting on my BB Loader replacement.

Portability. Thick metal plates can withstand high fps ratings.

Size. This thing is tiny. Think 2 soda cans wide.

Its smaller than the pictures let on. Even tho measurements are offered, you don't actually get a grasp on the size until you see it first hand.

Easy to assemble. Durable, unless you exceed certain levels of fps with heavy grain pellets. Convenient, easy to change targets and for the most part it gathers the pellets for you. You would be hard pressed to find a more user friendly pellet trap at the price this one is sold at.

Nothing

Pyramid Air is a great company to deal with for all your airgun needs. They go above and beyond bringing customers satisfaction.

Transportable for my use and was easy to set-up!

I would include a 2" X 4" option Wood Stand as an option to mount it.

It's great for 10 Meter Air Pistol Practice, indoors or outdoors with air pistol that shoots no more than at less than a 1000 Feet per second! I would Duck Tape the interior of the trap to protect the metal for additional protection!

Great trap for indoor shooting. Easy to assemble and empty. Would purchase this item again.

Nothing.

This target trap is very easy to assemble and makes an excellent addition for zeroing in your scope. Its light enough to carry and place at any distance, but is sturdy and well made to handle your shot.

A bigger model should also be offered.

I like this trap, it collects my spent ammo just fine. I didn't want my yard full of lead so this was a good solution. I like the targets as well, they don't shred once shot up. They stay together and this allows you to see your groupings really well.

Nothing.

DO NOT shoot alloy ammunition at this pellet trap. Use only lead as they suggest. I have the Gamo Swarm Maxxim .22 and shot the Predator GTO's at this trap, it's NOT a good idea. The GTO's dented the metal sides and bent the stop in the back. Lesson learned.

Simple, compact, durable

Nothing

Designed for 5.5 inch targets, no sense in it being any larger than that. They sell larger ones if you require larger targets.

It is compact and inexpensive, but not well made. The welds fell apart after a few months. Don't buy this

needs better quality control

spend the extra money and get a better trap

It's very easy to change targets; just drop them into place. I have a larger Crosman 853 pellet trap and don't use it that much because it doesn't hold targets as conveniently as the Gamo. The included targets are of very good quality. Heck... for the price, it's like buying 100 targets and getting the trap for free!

I add some reinforcement under the little pellet deflector tab in the throat of the target. On the first Gamo Cone Pellet Trap I purchased, this little tab eventually bent inwards and pellets occasionally bounce back out, sometimes (but rarely) knocking the target out of the trap.
