Purchased for my 308. Haven't mounted it yet, waiting on the scope rings to get in. Glass is clear, Awesome low light vision, should do what it's designed to do. I will adjust the review once I get it on the range and confirm it.

the eye relef/eye box can give me some issues but this product is excellent for the MSRP. This works great as a cheap hunting rifle scope. zeroing the optic was easy enough for a novice distance shooter like me

A great scope. Very easy but sturdy mill spec adjusting, (has that satisfying good quality click) stays sighted in quite well, good illumination adjustments from dim to bold, and a good price point for a fixed focal point scope. All around great scope

Nothing i can think of.

I put this on my 6.5 hunting rifle, which will likely stay there forever. The glass on this is as great as the more well-known brands. It is super clear and can see well into the night after your eyes fail you. The light up sights make it easy to detect your redical when pointing at a dark background. The mil readings are great and outperform my experience.

Put this on an older Glenfield Model 10, a very old rifle with new life because of this optic. Favorite things about this optic: FFP, reticle is easy to learn and use, very affordable, and of course the Vortex warranty. Easy choice for me. Can also see this on a larger caliber

The scope has clearer glass at 14X than I expected. It’s my first front focal plane scope and I really appreciate that no adjustments are needed at any magnification once zeroed. I’ve only had it a month but so far it’s holding zero well.

It has holdover subtensions that help on quickly changing shots at different ranges.

I didn't purchase it on Expert voice, but it is a phenomenal scope. The features for the price point is unbeatable. Ive shot it with ALL my gassers, a 300wm and a 270 bolt gun. Its taken a beating and its still living. I'd say this scope is excellent for all sorts of shooting disciplines. It's also a wonderful beginner optic.

I normally spend as much on my scope as my rifle cost. I had just purchased a Savage Impulse in 6.5 Creedmoor and needed a scope. However I decided to try the Alton. The Alton had everything I wanted, adjustable parallax, FFP, Mil Rad clicks, illuminated reticle and a power range just right for hunting and targets within 500 yards. This scope on the Savage has allowed me to shoot some of the tightest groups I've ever put on paper. I have several scopes that I have spent as much as six times more than I spent on this scope but this scope is perfect for this rifle combo. I will be looking at Alton when I need my next scope, this scope has exceeded my expectations.

Glass is very clear. The added feature of FFP at this price is a great bonus. High quality scope, holds zero very well.
