Page 3 of 24 - Benjamin Marauder Pistol Reviews

Powerful, comes pre-charged, love the feel of this pistol. The fact that it comes with a rifle stock is a big plus. Price was excellent. Excellent value. Best of all for me is that there are aftermarket parts you can add to customize it.

Wouldn't change anything

No sights whatsoever. Plan ahead and order a red dot or scope along with the purchase of the pistol. Also consider ordering extra magazines.

Accurate out of the box added a Hawke red dot and at 15 yds it only took 4 shots to be able to put down 5 shots groups the size of a dime. Love this gun.

Nothing

The cost is a bit high but it's worth every penny.

Just a fun gun to shoot as a carbine. Grouping great at thirty yards. Easy to tune, happy with an unmodified version for pest control and plinking.

Accessories to modify carbine stock with cheek piece and picatinny rail for scopes.

Great gun to get into pcp shooting without needing a large air tank or compressor. Hand pump friendly!

Great compact little PCP. This is my first so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Very accurate so far with the testing I have done.

It's loud, the description says it's quiet but I disagree. It's fairly loud versus something like a 1377. The magazine that came with it was not functional. It was assembled incorrectly and it could not be fixed without taking out the center screw and realigning the spring. Not too hard but unacceptable for something brand new that costs as much as this does IMHO. This seems to be a benjamin/crosman problem though. I ordered two additional magazines from a different site and one of them came improperly assembled as well. The tiny springs inside are a bit of a pain but overall it wasn't that hard to fix.

I was finally able to shoot my Marauder pistol with the UTG Micro Red Dot, ( UTG red dot not available at PA). Awesome, lightweight, accurate, and very repeatable! I had originally wanted a pistol with iron sights, the Diana Bandit. But the order was taking too long so I cancelled that order and changed to the Marauder pistol. This change required additional purchases. Big Thanks to BB's blog, I chose the UTG Micro Red dot with the side loading battery. This is the only reason why I lowered the value to 4 stars. All in all, I am glad I switched to the Marauder!

When I installed the supplied stock is was a little loose, even with both grip screws as tight as I dared. I ended up folding some heavy duty Aluminum foil to take up some of the gap between the stock and the grip frame. This took several attempts to get the thickness correct. When the pistol arrived "THE SAFETY WAS OFF" !? Be sure to check the safety each and every time you pick up your airgun!

This airgun is extremely accurate.

Picatinny rail instead of 11mm Dovetail. Most Red dot scopes are the former and I don't care for adapters.

Tasco makes a cheap red dot from walmart that fits the 11mm dovetail. I've been shooting 20 yards with tight groups with this setup.

It took me a long time to spend the money for a PCP. Could kick myself for not doing it sooner. This Marauder Pistol is amazing. Light weight and superb accuracy. The trigger is the best I have experienced out of the box. No need to make any adjustments. I would recommend this gun to be the first move into the PCP world.

Nothing needed in my opinion.

Not from my experience.

Powerful for this pistol Red dot and glass is good Reaches out there

Weight

Hole in hole at 30 yards with Air Arms 18's. Takes out squirrels with no problem.

This gun has been out long enough that Crosman should have reconfigured the stock. Hard to find an optic that works. Have tried 7 still not satisfied. 2 magazines please.

Waited 2 years to purchase. Just couldn't justify the money for a 30 yard pistol. Don't be cheap like I was, get this gun it is worth every penny. I shoot this almost every day and enjoy it more than ANY gun I've owned. I had PA switch the bolt to the left for me. Excellent job guys bolt is like silk.

Build quality and feel is good. I like the carbine option and it works well with a good reflex sight.

OPEN SIGHTS! CMON! Its a pistol! I realize it will shoot great farther than I can see with open sights but I want to plink cans and targets from 5yds to 30yds. With that said, I have a reflex sight on it and it does work well. Still would like an open sight kit or option to keep it lighter, sleeker and have less to break or be fed batteries. I have the Marauder rifle as well but just know its got a little more bark in its stock form than the rifle.

Worth the hard earned $. Very happy with it. With a dot sight on and a rest I can consistently group well at 20-30yds enough to hit golf balls each time which is all I want out of this one. I have no doubt it will do much better if you scope it. The trigger was much lighter than I expected but good. I adjusted it to my liking easily via the instructions. Using the carbine stock and reflex sight it is a really nice quick and light squirrel gun.
