Page 4 of 24 - Benjamin Marauder Pistol Reviews

Compact size, designed bundle suited to the Benjamin Marauders abilities. Setting up included scope easy enough to do. Found the Marauder with included scope to be accurate and repeatable to 150 feet (furthest target).

Nothing comes to mind as something that needs to be changed.

Marauder is easy to pump to 3k. Understand that a lower pressure is recommended. Was concerned that it was difficult to pump up the pistol but found that using included hand pump to pressurize the Benjamin Marauder pistol was not an issue. Read that stock was loose maybe this might have been from older reviews. The stock is solid. No issues with holding pressure or variance between pressure gauges on included hand pump or pistol. The Marauder is quieter than my Beeman P1 but not as quiet as my friends Benjamin Marauder rifle. All suited to backyard or field shooting.

This has a very solid feel, and you can tell immediately that it is very well built. Right out of the box with Crosman 14.3 grain hollow point pellets it shot one hole 5 shot groups at 25 yards. The action is very smooth and the magazine feeds perfectly. I have read or heard many times that the stock wiggles slightly, but mine is solid with no movement. I don't know if Crosman fixed this problem, or if I just got a good one. The trigger is excellent with no adjustment needed for me.

The comb on the stock would be much better if it were higher. I cut a section out of a pool noodle, sliced it lengthwise, zip tied it to the stock, and it fits me perfectly now.

I mounted a Hawke 2x7 scope, which seems perfect on this gun.
Pyramid Air as always, made ordering easy and had very fast shipping.
It is very quiet, which makes it backyard friendly.

JSB 15.89 stack pellet on pellet at 17 yards. Will try further distances later, but this is the distance to the rat trail that goes to my bird feeder, lol. I also like how deep the mag is, Polymags fit! Wish that were the case for my $2050 Impact.... If you're wondering if it's backyard friendly, I uploaded a pic of 2 deer that came to watch me sight in. Momma deer interrupted the shooting to stand directly inline behind my target (box of duct clay - awesome for sound absorption btw)

Pic/weaver rail but hey, it's like the only thing I could imagine making it better. I have far more expensive PCP's, but this little plinker is by far, the best bang for the buck in a small package.

Anyone who says this gun isn't accurate for it's size needs to stop buying Crosman pellets. JSB's stack at 17 yards, Crosmans have a one inch group. Out of my Marauder rifle, Crosman's are every bit as good as JSB's, but only to 30 yards, then they open up. I hear you can make the Crosman's better by cleaning, lubing, etc... But JSB's work right out of the tin.

The power it has and it looks cool.

It needs a P Rail for mounting optics. A better secured Butt Stock, It wobbles.

N/A

The accuracy of this pistol was great, and it was very easy to fill with a hand pump; however, it would not hold air, losing 500-600 psi overnight. Have returned it to Pyramyd, waiting on a replacement now. If it had been ok, I certainly would have given 5 stars in all categories. Had to give it only 1 star in the other 2 categories because it was faulty out of the box.

As a lot of buyers have said, the shoulder stock.

All I can say at this point is that the thing was shockingly accurate and easy to manually pump. I have a Nomad II compressor which I use for filling my Condor, but the Marauder pistol was so easy to fill with a hand pump that I just used it for charging. If this gun hadn't had the leaking problem, I would say that it is a great value for the money. Hopefully the next one will be better.

Accurate Light Fun Quiet Shot count Out of the box ready to go Fantastic trigger

Only thing woul be to design it to use the standard Marauder Mrod magazines.

Fun factor and power for all your backyard needs.
You will not be disappointed at this price point.

Nice little gun. Good trigger and magazine. With the butt stock on it shoots very well and if I could I would give 4 1/2 stars. Nice and light to carry.

The safety could be metal but the plastic one seems durable.

It's a fun little air gun and easy to fill using a manual pump.

The 8 shot clip, the accuracy, the trigger, the sound

nothing

This is my first and certainly not my last PCP airgun! I ordered this pistol because I was wanted a harder hitting unit than my Crosman pump pistol. This certainly provided that! I was also very pleased with the rotary magazine. I thought it would just be a gimmick, since I have been shooting air rifles for over 25 years and never had an issue with hand loading the pellet. The magazine is just so much more convenient, especially with the gun being able to fire right away after the last shot. The trigger pull is sublime - I thought that there would not be anything better than my old Diana model 35 but I was wrong. I am now looking at the Benjamin Marauder 22 rifle real hard!

The pistol isn't as heavy as I thought it would be.

Put a sight on it.

Its rather powerful

Very accurate and handles well

The stock is a little loose but easy fix if unbearable

It would appear the magazines are extremely hard to find and you cant use the same degassing tool that the rifle used
