the accuracy was great at fifty yards. The gun is a pleasure to shoot. I love the power it has, I have killed prairie dogs and coons with it. It seams to like the jsb hades pellets best. Mine is a 25 cal

I wish they would put a side lever cocking on it instead of the bolt action

This most accurate air rifle I have ever shot. I have tried 4 or 5 pellets in it so far every one have shot great. Crossman pellets shot the best. It shoots others good to It likes daisy pellets almost as good best air rifle I have ever had . great gun you need to pull the trigger and get it

15 yard accuracy is good. Have not shot longer range as I am waiting on pellets

Gun is heavy and stock is a little awkward to carry and shoot offhand.

I am not sure how to store this gun. Barrel moves if you lean it against a wall or rack. Not sure how it will affect accuracy over time. I wish I had bought the regulated version.

Rifle defects (described below)

I purchased the 0.25cal model. The first rifle sent to me was defective. It had shot groupings of ~8" from just 15 yards away, which as far as I'm concerned rendered the rifle useless. I was able to initiate a return through the Pyramyd Air website, print off a pre-paid FedEx return label, then drop off the packaged up rifle at my local FedEx. Within a week there was a replacement rifle at my doorstep and this rifle worked perfectly. I was getting consistent dime sized groups from 20 yards, something which I had seen from others on this website. Receiving a defective rifle the first time is the reason I have given this review 4/5 stars. The replacement rifle is easily a 5/5 star gun. For reference I am using a Bushnell Dusk & Dawn 3-9x 40mm scope with Benjamin 0.25cal pellets.

Just got it set it up with scope bipod and sling to hang on wall got the lothar walther barrel start shooting on backyard wind blowing pretty hard still getting great accuracy 2600 psi to 1200 psi 3 mags im impressed very accurate and quiet just gotta get used on cocking it using crossman 14.3 cheap pellet but works good filled it 5 times my first marauder im happy

2600 psi is the sweet spot just screw a picitiny rail on bottom and you got bipod i use a bag shoulder strap to hang on wall lol s wire to connect on strap fun to shoot

This is a very accurate gun. I upgraded to the Lothar-Walther barrel mainly to get the pic rail. I added a 20 MOA rail to the front of the rail to get the scope far enough forward for shooting in prone. I like the adjustable comb especially as high as the scope ends up being to get it forward. The sling studs are sound. This is important as I shoot slung up tight in prone.

The cover for the fill nipple would be tethered or have a place to hold it while filling especially in the field with the pump. The edges of the adjustable comb are sharp. I recommend rounding them off with some sandpaper or a Dremel tool

Get a degaussing tool. I suggest ordering a hard case as the bolt handles on both the first gun and its replacement were pushed through the inner and outer box wall. Make sure it is holding pressure. My first gun leaked! Pyramid Air took care of it.

This is my firsts PCP air gun and it's head and shoulders above all the springers I've owned. No vibration at the shot and not hold sensitive like a springer. Of the pellets I've tried only the H&N crow magnum didn't shoot that well. It's nice to leave the ear plugs in the car when at the range. Definitely backyard friendly.

Maybe a little more viscosity but this gun is so accurate that I don't want to mess with it.

This rifle can shoot completely through a spray paint can at 35 yards.

The Benjamin Marauder is what I was told to expect. It is easy to shoot , very accurate, quite and has been fun to shoot.

I haven't shoot it enough to recommend any changes yet.

The Marauder is my first PCP rifle. My prior airguns are break barrel, I am very disappointed in the accuracy of the break barrel guns. The Marauder meets my accuracy expectations, I'm still sighting it in (only 20 rounds so far) shots are very repeatable. Weather kept me from shooting until yesterday, I've had it about two weeks., I cleaned the gun and mounted the scope then hand pumped the charge, hand pumping was easier than I expected. Charged rifle sat for a week until yesterday, no loss of charge, WOW. I am very pleased with the Marauder and the Hill hand pump.

Nothing, I read many reviews and the manual before buying, the Marauder is what I expected.

Magazine is easy to load. Gun operates as specified. It is necessary to pull the bolt all the way back to cock, I think I short cycled it once during my initial dry fire testing.

Put the air pressure gauge on the side instead of the bottom so you can watch the pressure level as you're pumping.

Yes. I've been a competitive shooter since I was 12 and am now 62. I've never had a powder burner that was any more accurate than this is. At 10 yards it will put 10 shots through the same hole. I have yet to have any ammo i've tried (13 different kinds) shoot a larger group then I can easily cover with a dime. Now that the weather is breaking i'll be taking it outside for more long range testing. Excellent buy.
