been a very reliable rifle been aired up and never leaked almost 2 years now has plenty of power goes though older car doors and will go all the way trough a fridge

wish they were regulated for better shot control really should come with 2 or 3 mags

you will want to look into a depinger and silencer for these make sure you get the depinger if you get a silencer or you will listen to a banjo every shot these are fairly loud and will not be back yard friendly with how hard they hit

Reliable. Light weight. Easy to cock. Powerful. No recoil. Foster fitting is great. Comfortable to shoulder.

The magazines are mediocre. They can tend to stick causing dry fires or double loads, be careful about that. The shot drop is steep after the third shot. I'd love to see a regulated version come out. I'd also like to see the charging handle moved forward. There's a slight bit of air that blows back at you from the magazine. I wish the magazine placement was further up or on the side instead of right on the cheek piece.

Overall this is a great gun. Reliable even in cold weather. Very accurate for a big bore. Quarter sized three shot groups at 60 yards. Great hunting gun for raccoons to deer. Lots of aftermarket options and upgrades available too.

The magazine doesnt hold the slugs they fall out and make it janky to reload. Especially since it can shoot 2 mags on a fill. Having a preloaded mag available would be nice.

You need a high scope mount on this.

Power. HUGE power for a bullpup (.457). Haven't shot it a lot, just scoped it and tried it out. I do have the gen I .357 and that's got a lot of use shooting mostly Nosler 145's.

I'm not a fan of the gravity magazine. Hard to load as it's loose and slugs keep falling out. Also, note that the slugs (Benjamin 350grs) shown as recommended among will not fit the magazine as they are two long to use the magazine and need to be individually fed. The 196 NSA's work well (and get more power) but feel very sloppy in the magazine.

Very powerful and accurate

Foster fitting cover is very flimsy and cheaply made. They put a lot of effort into making this an exceptional rifle, but skip over this little detail.

It's definitely a slug gun. It will fire .25 pellets and slugs, but not very well. It is chambered and rifled for .257. Griffin slugs are exceptional in it.

A true powerhouse. The M257 definitely lives up to the hype. Packs a really good punch, and is very accurate. I am sure it will get even better with use and breaking in.

The protective foster fitting cap leaves much to be desired. Very cheap and flimsy. I believe they could do much better. For the price they have installed a regulator, but overall performance is good.

Don't expect to get good results with pellets. This a slug gun, and bored for .257, not .25. Although they will fire, they are not accurate at all.

Power, power, power. Not too heavy. Shoulders nice. Great pic rail. Easy to fill. Accurate out to 100 yards. Nice side lever.

The magazine has some slight issues with how it holds the ammo and cycles, but not too bad.

The gun is a beast and it's one of my favorites to shoot. A real powerhouse and accurate. High priced but ultimately worth it for hunting or blowing up water jugs or other targets. Quality is high priority at Benjamin for sure. Heavier ammo seems to shoot best. 140 grain slugs. 80 gran pellets work decent too, but the slugs seem to be the most accurate at distance.

Great power, compact design, balances great for a bull pup.

The thread m-18x1 sucks too big 1/2x20 would be just fine for a LDC sized for 357 the gun is loud very loud so without a LDC herring pro is a must have

You better have a bottle to fill a fast shot of air on a new gun because my gun had two stuck valves one was the main hammer spring valve and the second was the check valve on the foster fitting

I have the .457 rather than the .357. Nice piece for the price.
