First pcp rifle. Excellent shipping and packaging. No damage. Precharged out of the box, and ready for shooting. Put a mantis 4,12,40 power scope and leapers 1 inch rings. Used crossman premier 14.3 gr pellets to zero in at 15 yards, which took only nine shots on a rest! Then out to 30 yards and put three pellets in one hole. Bought the hill hand pump and brought the pressure back up to 3000 psi with 42 easy pumps. Went to 50 yards with a slight wind and was able to get dime sized grouping. I have a blueberry farm with a squirrel problem. 78 headshots later and I'm good to go! Was using a Benjamin trail in 22 cal break barrel, which by the way is excellent air gun for pest controll. The trigger is smooth on mine. For the price I'll be buying another to kill pest. Took a family of ground hogs at sixty yards all headshots and clean kills. Couldn't ask for a better hunting air gun at this price point.
The bolt is a little stiff at first! But that changed after 100 shots. You can feed two pellets in by accident if the bolt isn't charged back all the way and won't fire so if that happens be careful and pull the bolt out and pull out the magazine and shoot the pellet. Then cycle the bolt back and put the magazine back in and your back in businesse.
It has a manual safe. Which you should practice using. Always know your backstop, this is a very powerful airgun! It will go through half inch pressure treated plywood like butter. Always safety first.

I would not purchase this item again. I had the Gamo Urban for a little over 7 years and had really nothing but problems with it. I did have to send it back to Gamo because it would jam all of the time. It worked for a little while and I did kill my share of rabbits with it but recently I shot at a rabbit and did hit it but with that the shroud exploded and one of the pieces hit my wife in the leg. The suppressor had a big hole in it and this gun always seemed to have something stuck in the barrel. I would never recommend this pellet gun to anybody.

Gun is light and works well with different pellets. I am still breaking it in and went from a 14grain to a 18grain pellet and my grouping has improved. mostly target shooting at 25 yards and grouping went from 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch, still wanting to get to 1/4 inch.
The only thing I would like to change is the gage, I don't like looking down close to the barrel to see the pressure in addition the gage is small and hard to see for 73 year old eyes. If the gage was on the side it would be more convenient.

Verified BuyerPerfect airgun and price. My second one, wish I would have kept the first one. got it back now. 10 for 10 worked out fine. powerful gun very accurate and easy easy scope mounting. This gun isn't like some other junk that I owned. When there gone and stop making this you best save some money. Because the urban is worth more then $300.00 in my opinion. I own a lot of airguns and powder guns a lot. this gun out shoots most everything and the quality is there.
Not one thing. May not be perfect, but 99.9 % it is!! Wish I could put my own moderator on. But it's not bad.
This gun screams for a nice scope. It's worthy of one. I put a Bushnell AR BDC Side focus 4.5x18x40 Works for me. Now anyone can put what ever they like. But please put a good scope on it. This gun can shoot. One more thing it is pretty quiet too.

shop around for extra magazines you might find a cheaper price. So far mine is not finicky with the pellets I feed it.
For the price you cant beat this rifle, so far I have only shot it out to 50 yds, from that distance it will shoot groups you can cover with a dime. On squirrels and large turtles it is absolutely deadly (head shots). I like its balance/size. When you fire it the only thing you hear is the pellet hitting the sheet of plywood which keeps my neighbors happy. I have another PCP rifle that cost several times what this Gamo cost and I wind up picking the Gamo 9 out of 10 times when I go out shooting/varminting.
I dont like the gauge at the end of the fill tube (looking down the barrel to see fill) but I can live with that.
The rifle seems to like any pellet I have fired in it, even the cheap ones. One of my shooting friends is so impressed he is thinking about getting a 22 also, buy this gun I dont think think you will be disappointed.
Accurate, quiet, easy to fill with a hand pump, & did I say Accurate!!!
Get a good scope & let the gun begin - squirrels better move out!
Shoots accurate enough
It does not hold air. Even after paying pyramyd to do 10 of 10 which is supposed to come with leak check I still received a gun that leaks.
This is the second air rifle pyramyd service department dropped the ball on. Customer service department is the worst I have ever communicated with. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

I would not purchase this item again. I had the Gamo Urban for a little over 7 years and had really nothing but problems with it. I did have to send it back to Gamo because it would jam all of the time.
