Page 2 of 13 - Barra No. 3 Full Metal Reviews

Very well made gun super super accurate. I would recommend getting the .177 rifled barrel because it increases fps by a hundred and travels further.

I enjoy it, it’s a nice model and has a nice weight to it. I enjoy shooting it at small targets.

I purchased the .177 Schofield with the pellet barrel conversion during Barra's Black Friday. With the holidays over, I finally had time to install the rifled barrel and was very pleasantly surprized. Not only was the swap very easy - it took less than 15 minutes and most of the time was spent searching for my punch set - but the conversion completely changed the pistol's character. Shooting BBs was backyard plinking fun but they didn't hit hard and accuracy was just OK. The pellet barrel turns the Schofield into a hard-hitting, very accurate pellet pistol. The attached image shows the "exit wounds" on two of the four cans at 9 meters. It knocked two other cans down the hillside (it's too wet to go after them right now)! However, its best feature is the authenticity. The look and operation is just about perfect for an 1870s Army Cavalry Schofield. The required warning text is subtly applied and even the grip looks authentically "woody!" The hammer locks with a positive 'click' and the cylinder rotates smoothly. The Schofield has really excellent heft and balance and trigger pull is just about perfect and very predictable at 2.42-2.6 lbs. Needless to say, I am VERY impressed. This may just become my favorite CO2 pellet pistol!

I got this for Christmas and have really enjoyed it. A lot! I'd wanted a Schofield for years, and this is a good replica- and I can shoot it in a limited space. I've shot a hundred rounds or so. The accuracy is reasonable for what it is. It feels solid and high quality. (Now, if only Barra would make a CO2 replica of Malcolm Reynolds' gun from Firefly, I'd be screaming "Shut up and take my money!")

Superb looks, feel and action. Extremely powerful too.

Beautiful replica! It shoots straight, and has a nice bang, too. I highly recommend it!

Just recently got my Schofield 7in. and the craftsmanship is outstanding! I have put about 200 of each bbs and pellets through the pistol. I am by no means a very good shot and at 20 yards I was able to hit a half gallon milk container fairly consistent. The accuracy very good. I am now just waiting for the rifled barrel upgrade kit to be back in stock. Very nice pistol.

I bought this bb gun and I love it. I’m going to buy more and collect them all.

I purchased this item on June 18, 2025, and I took it out and fired it today, July 12, 2025. I like the weight of this item and the fact that it is all metal except for the plastic grips, and the grips do not bother me. I have some 9mms that have plastic like grips. The temperature this evening when I took this gun out and fired it was about 77F, and I got about 78 shots out of the first CO2 cartridge. I only used one CO2 cartridge today. I will purchase the rifled 22 Cal kit for it. I think this item is a real nice reproduction of a nice antique firearm. Rverthing worked smooth on this first outing. I would recommend this product.

This is a very fun replica revolver and a great shooter. I have several. The rifled barrel conversion kit for pellets makes them even better.
