The build quality is top notch, and it's fully serviceable, no proprietary nonsense. If you got the tools and like to tinker, it's friendly to work on. It's very accurate with the right pellets, and you can attach all sorts of optics. For the price you're getting a lot, fully serviceable/customizable & built solid.

The included gas ram can fail, I had to replace mine, not hard to replace but irritating. The quality control from black bunker is hit or miss, mine had mild rust all over it. All the screws under shock & pressure require Loctite, that should be done at factory. Black bunker wants too much for a replacement gas ram, better off third party. Wever rails would be better in my opinion, and the built-in iron sites are crude.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of black bunkers quality control issues.. If you get a good one awesome but getting a factory defect is frustrating.. Just Loctite all the screw threads & if you got a good one, then you're good to go.. P.S. Pyramid air is a great airgun supplier, they've always been professional and friendly..

Too hard to cock for more than a handful of shots at a time, the Receiver (where the loading port is) has all sharp uncovered machined edges when folded and this will cut everything it contacts without much effort...skin, furniture, etc. (this is the worst thing)...it needs to have had protection when folded! stock was hard plastic and slippery (adapted a Keltec SUB2000 buttstock that fit decently after cutting). A strong muzzle break would help with cocking but then this would be almost 50" long.

Overall pretty impressed, I got the .22 version and I've put almost 5000 pellets through it this last 10 months mostly squirrels, doves, racoons and turtles. When you get the iron sights down we were putting pennies nickels and dimes on a piece of plywood at about 30 yd and hitting them every time no problem.

I would try to offer this with a better piston in a 25 caliber setup, but 22 does fairly well even though I blew out the seals last Friday...

Awesome rifle absolutely a must have for any outdoor enthusiasts looking for a reliable compact rifle .

The only thing I would upgrade is the sights the color on the front sight fixture needs to be a brighter color preferably florescent green .

Accuracy, power, portability

Sling mounts

This gun is worth the money. Folds up nicely for storage and transport. Took a few shots to sight in after cleaning. Really just a barebones rifle with room for plenty of accessories. Very cool gun for small game hunting and plinking around.

Accuracy was great. Open sights only. Could not put ons a scope. At leaset the one I got. High mounting issue.

Breaking the barrel is ocward due to the grip of the gun. After about half a tin of .22 shots something broke inside the rifle. There was a rattle inside the rifle. I called and I returned the rifle.

Pyrmid Air is the best. They are nice and helpful. It was simple.

I do like that it's very compact when folded up. This makes it very convenient to lean up against something when you want it to be somewhat handy, but its not in immediate use, not to mention for stashing during travel. It delivers a good amount of power for what it is and is and boasts more accuracy and velocity than would be immediately expected. When I bought this rifle, my friends thought it would be silly given the appearance ("tacticool"), but they have grown to like it quite a bit. A very cheap red dot sight has lasted through quite a few shots on this rifle, possibly due to the reduced vibration of the gas ram compared to a springer. The rifle is rather accurate and feels good to shoot. The included case is nice for carrying ammo. Honestly, the rifle provides a great value for the price.

It seems a little heavy, but that's not a big issue. Sling mounts would have been nice. Due to the odd shape when folded, a case made for the rifle would be nice as well. The open sights could be improved, but I did put a cheap red dot on it pretty shortly after trying it out. I think some flip up sights would be very cool given the aesthetic.

The design and craftsmanship is generally very well done, but I will note that some screws were coming loose after some moderate use which seems to have been addressed with some Loctite Threadlocker Blue. A pin also became partially dislodged, but was lightly hammered back into place easily. Note that you can expect a little over 1k FPS with an 8 gr pellet in the .177 caliber model. This review has been written after ~250 shots.

Easy to cock

Bulky, make a .25 cal, the design of the scope dove tail for mounting a scope, the sight adjustment considering it's suppose to be a survival rifle.

It's a neat gun for sure amd it's fun to shot and easy to cock. I did have a very hard time sighting it in. I own a couple dozen air guns and I'm a completive shooter and to me this is more of a novelty firearm more then anything.
