What can be said about this iconic BB gun that hasn't already be said .So let me say I'm 70 and this Christmas I gifted my self and 4 other aging Boomers with Red Ryders.All opened them and reported out it was the best present they received for Christmas. They were out linen away at tin cans Christmas morning and have been played with them regularly. Many Grand kids have joined in the fun. If you can find a cheaper way to have more fun than with a Red Ryder BB gun. Let me know!

Rifle good for what it was designed to do. Scope mount easy to install. both are good value for the money
The daisy scope is junk. Seen better come out of a cracker jacks box. Spend a little more for a scope.

Wood stock and for end. Scope mounting rail works great.
took off scope and replaced with a better scope. If you do this change, shim the scope up at the rear mount.
Still one of the best guns to teach a new shooter to the sport. Also a lot of fun and cheap to shoot for an experienced shooter to use for plinking.

Change to a metal cocking lever.
Kind of nice not changing Co2's and always loading BB's.
