Well, I nearly fell into the pellet gun rookie mistake. (I have twelve air pistols. Most in the $300 - $500 range. Shame on me for being impatient.) The first 50 - 80 shots were spread out haphazardly all over the 8" circumference of the target. I would shoot for the bullseye and hit the far top right or the far lower left. The gun was not just erratic, it seemed about as accurate as throwing a handful of pellets against the wall. My first thought: I got a lemon - return it. Then I remembered that break-in periods for air pistols take a few days, a few weeks, sometimes 500 - 1000 pellets. So I relaxed and shot about 200 more. Now the gun is hitting the center. Some tight groups. Others off a little. I'm using a Walther red dot, a vast improvement over the gun's natural sights. It's finally calming down, getting more accurate. My 4 star accuracy rating can change over the next few days/weeks. MY MESSAGE TO YOU: give the gun a chance to get a feel for itself. And a feel for you, too.
A small thing: when you hold the gun in your hand (which feels great by the way. You get a nice, comfortable grip on it.) the plastic grip creaks a little due to the space between the inside layer of plastic and the magazine. When I am shooting, I don't notice it. Although it is innovative design, not wild about the mag design. Takes a lot of handling to load the pellet mag and load the CO2. Pellet mags should be sold separately instead of having to buy the whole mag/CO2 sheebang. But you know. overall, it is a nice shooting gun. For me it is all about accuracy. I am a target shooter not a tin can abuser. My accuracy will improve as the gun matures and as I become more accustomed to shooting a blowback. And I am 63 - a little shakier than I used to be.
Bottom line - take the leap if you're finding yourself constantly coming back to SA10 page. If the plastic grip was metal, the gun would weight twice as much. This SA10 will really grown on you. I am glad I bought it and stuck with it.
Super realistic blowback. Gun just looks cool.
The thing starts to jam after a while. And when it jams, it destroys the 8-round clip. WHY IS THERE NO OPTION TO BUY REPLACEMENT 8-ROUND ROTARY CLIPS??
Okay airgun enthusiasts, I absolutely sung the praises for this gun for quite a long time. It has many amazing things to like about it. But the one deal-breaker disadvantage which renders this gun a paperweight is the fact that NO ONE SELLS THE 8-ROUND ROTARY CLIPS! YOU MUST PURCHASE A NEW MAGAZINE TO GET MORE CLIPS! I started having pellet jams after awhile. And clearing jams with this gun is a serious matter of trial-and-error. When a pellet jams stuck, you have little other option but to wiggle back and forth the rotary clip till it allows the clip to drop free. And in the process, the little 8-round clip more often than not, severs in-between the pellet casing, thus rendering the clip useless. Once you rack up enough broken rotary clips, you have no other recourse but to buy a whole new magazine. You cannot just but the cheap little clips. I've searched high and low. I refuse to buy a THIRD magazine. I am left with a VERY EXPENSIVE PAPERWEIGHT.

The trigger is excellent. Accuracy is excellent.
I would like a red dot on the front sight because I am old and can use the additional focus.
Great value with all the items Pyramyd adds such as CO2, Pellets.
U get 48 accuracet shots, to 1 cylender, Set them in the holder first, to set the pellets, 10.5 grain I got good groupings @ 20yrds rightout of thd box, n its not broken yet. Paintthe front sight red
Overall this pellet gun handles really well. It's almost like shooting a real handgun, just not as loud and your using pellets instead of actual real rounds. So what that means you can use this in your own backyard and not have to go to the range. So your saving money by training in your backyard.
The safety switch, instead of it sliding forward to put it on safety have it slide backwards instead. The reason behind this is when your ready to shoot and your aligned on target side the safety forward then fire. This is just backwards if you ask me. Also the magazine when you place your pellets into the wheels and go to place them on the magazine they will fall out if they are not seated properly very frustrating.
If your want a moderator for this pellet gun then you have to search the internet to find one. If you can find one. Pyramyd should offer one or include one with the price of the gun.
trigger, accuracy, feel, weight, magazine system, grip, slide can be removed
the chrome gold finish, maybe matte bronze would have been better! also a better front sight, I painted the tip of mine with a yellow paint pen.
I also have a Glock gen5 pellet, and this gun is way better for a much better price. The trigger on the SA10 is actually enjoyable compared to the horror that is the Glock trigger/belt system. I can hit 1.5" targets from 10m and love this thing.
One of the best feature is the blowback it make it feel good, The weight and the construction is awesome.
The thing that I will change is how the rotary magazine fits in the magazine, empty it will stayed in place until you load them it will falls away and Umarex need to get rid of the plastic one is useless and its design for BBs.
OMG! this feels like the real thing. And for being a CO2 hand gung is loud as my Hatsan Jet I, the blowback feature is geat and is an inexpensive way to practice with out spending a lot of money. overall is a good gun. Warning do not use BBs you will ruin the gun due to the rifling on the barrel, my suggestion us pellets, and those people that says that can shoot pellets, I am using the Exite Spike Pointed .177cal 8.6gr pellets and it shoots nice and had no problem s with those pellets.
The blowback is great and it fires good.
The gun has failed when shooting pellets. I've tried 3 different kinds of .177 pellets and all 3 get lodged in the barrel. BBs work fine. But pellets do not.
The SA10 is a decent pistol shoots good feels okay in the hand, The magazine bad.
The magazines and loading are awful!
Accuracy! For me I want a gun that shoots to its point of aim. When I miss the bull it's because of operator error and not the gun. The SA10 delivers!
The front sight needs to be highlighted.
The SA10 shoots better than most replica airguns costing twice as much.
The gun feels solid and well made. It's heavy, cycles well and is pretty accurate. It also looks good with the gold accents.
Magazines and loading are awful!
I bought this SA10 partly because of the unique magazine with 24 round capacity. It seemed like a good idea but as it turns out, this is the absolute worst magazine setup I've ever experienced! It is difficult to load the individual 8 round mags and the BB's fall out the backside if turned upside down when, and after loading. It is especially annoying when moving the individual magazines to the upper firing position. The individual mags also just fall out of the clip if oriented facing downward! The magazine setup is frustrating, unnecessarily cumbersome, and very poorly designed. Also, the 4th plastic magazine is completely useless. I like Umarex products but disappointed that they would market a magazine this bad! It might be better with pellets but I didn't try using them.
