I had no problems mounting a scope or opening the cardboard box the gun came in. Pumped up without issue.
Oh boy. Well I only managed to get six or seven pellets fired before it sprung a major leak that I lacked the experience to address and pyrsmyd were too swamped to get back to me in the first few days. so it was returned using one of pyrsmyds prepaid labels (mostly prepaid, they asked me for two dollars, strangely). I got refunded, but it took a month. the .25 flashpup kicked like a mule with a nasty metallic vibration that seemed to go directly into your skull. bullpups, I guess. the kick was such that in the prone position, the xhairs moved so violently that groups would be impossible until I found a more braced position. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance. I am a little baffled at why the recoil would be so much more pronounced than on my m&p 22 compact (pistol) with 40 grain projectiles going 1300-ish for 100-~fpe out of a 3 inch barrel. call me mystified. I decided against replacing the flashpup and ordered an avenger. maybe bullpups in general aren't my thing.
I'm assuming the worst of the pandemic gun hysteria will be over soon enough and the vendors will become responsive once again. I don't blame pyramydair for the delays, but if it's not any better in a month, that seems like a long while to deal with the demand. it's been like this since what, February?
Yeah... 5 stars... this time I bought the .25 direct from PA (last one was .22 got off Amazon gifted to my nephew) this gun is just great. QUIET is understating the noise level... ridiculously quiet. With two simple adjustments I got the trigger nice... breaking about 1 lb now. Sighted in at 50 yards within 5 shots I had 2" grouping. This gun is a GREAT value... fun and cheap to shoot.
I would pay more money for a nice hardwood stock... with the bolt handle from the synthetic version... and in .30 tuned to 900 +/- FPS... THAT would be worth $600 to me.
I shoot with the single shot tray so I have limited experience with the magazines so much... i have used them with recommended ammo, 25 grain skirted domed pellets, and havent had any issue (once I got the hang of loading those pellets in backwards)
You look at the Flashpup and the wood stock stands out. It looks awesome. It's accurate and powerful. Really love this gun. Size and weight are perfect , so is the price.
Wish it had a regulator and a better bolt action .
After a while the bolt becomes a little easer to use. Clean your barrel on arrival .
Very light super accurate less than 7/8' group at 35 yards very first magazine! I expect I can do much better with practice and barrel gets seasoned. Tested with 25.39 jsb
Cocking effort is heavy in .25 .Shouldn't have to shim optics rail but it's easy
Clean the barrel it's super dirty out of the box. Get the 10 for 10 test to ease your mind about leaks and velocity. Mine came cronograph tested to an average of 897fps with 20gr pellets in .25cal just as advertised
confortable, lightweight,powerful+ accurate
add a slinger ring, bolt action too hard to pull
must consider a tunning to get more shots per fill and more accurracy and match a ammo to use. overall is a good air rifle
This gun performed way beyond my expectations. Super accurate and well made for the money!!
i purchased this gun and forgot the adapter for my benjamin hand pump so i ordered that and when i tried to fill up the gun it just kept leaking out. everything seemed loose and poorly made on the rifle aswell. i had the rifle leaned up on the wall and when it fell the bit of plastic holding the trigger group to the gun broke which caused it to seperate from the stock. very poorly made gun save your money and get something better
Compact. Accuracy is holding to a quarter anywhere between 30-75 yds using jsb or fx 25gr. I get about 2 magazines before I notice any major drop off.
Picatinny scope rail
Make sure you have or buy the make qd connector for the full adapter.
Have Weaver rings or get an adapter. I am not a fan of dovetail.
The outer stock is made well, but that's about where it all ends.
The machining that was done for this bullpup was awful, constant jamming and malfunctions, right out of the box. It's almost as if the parts were outsourced and quality control was never really implemented, then again, you can't expect good quality from companies that make their products in Turkey. The magazines were supposedly upgraded from the last version, but both magazines that came still had the same issue the previous versions did.
This air gun is for people who like machining and a lot of DIY work, since this bullpup will either give you problems right out the box, or very soon down the line. You can make it a nice air gun, but the way it comes out the factory is equivalent to a bunch of baboons slapping on parts they're convinced are compatible.

I bought my "Pup" from PA, and once I got the scope zeroed in, we really started to have some fun. The cocking is a bit tough in the beginning but after 8-10 magazines worth, it gets easier. My other rifle is a Diana RWS 34, and I learned to shoot on that before using the "Pup". It put a squirrel down quite easily, I'm using Monster Diabolos from JSB, 13 grain, but the Pup will also shoot JSB Hades and pretty much anything. Mine's in the .177 caliber, but it's great for the backyard as well. Value for the money is wonderful. Fills fine with a hand pump, I use the Hill Pump, and it takes about 3-4 minutes to fill. Mine game with 14 round mags, so happy hunting.
Honestly for the price you're getting a lot. Lots of things can be adjusted or upgraded easily, plenty of tutorials on the web. One thing to note! The Turkish Walnut Wood dents very easily, I accidentally bumped it with another rifle on the table from where I was shooting from, and I think a blunt end dented the wood a bit. Nothing severe, but if you are rough with your rifles I recommend the Synthetic Pup.
For the money, buy it, use it, and you'll love it.
