Lots of power. Huge wow factor when you bring it out on the range. Definitely as loud as a .22lr pistol. The long barrel and even longer suppressor makes this an intimidating weapon that no one assumes to be an air rifle.
Nothing about the gun itself, however see below for what to consider when buying this gun.
This gun requires 129 strokes on the average bicycle style air compressor for every two shots. Meaning 26 shots will require approximately 1,677 strokes. If you need a workout, be my guest, otherwise get a tank! Also, this will not fit in any of your current gun cases. The awesomeness is just too long. You will have to remove the tank and the last three inches of the suppressor, which is easy yet after so much work into getting it sighted in, I really did not want to take it apart. One more thing, the slugs need to be .510. Do not buy slugs for Seneca rifles. They are smaller than what this beast requires.
I can't tell you what I like because I haven't been able to shoot the airgun yet. The tank would not take air and or hold it. The air tank was sent back to be checked. I haven'r received it back.

! Bought this while my .50 cal Umerex Hammer was down and sent off for warranty during deer season. Needless to say i will be selling the hammer because there is no competition between the two . The air force Handles like a sniper rifle and just all around feels more like a rifle and not a jacked up toy.

Accurate, I have owned my 457 and 25 for more than a year . I make my own ammo. 457 lss , condor,24 inch version with aftermarket choke. Both accurate to 200 yards +, 6 inch target with ease. Golf balls at 100! Wild pig with 25 no issues! 75 yards
Really needs the bottle drop down adapter included from talon tunes to have a better sight picture for the scope!
Upgrade to a 1.1liter bottle on the 457 gets you 15 shots at3600 @ 200 yards for me .
Have been wanting one for years could not decide what one I wanted ta buy decided on the 357.
The scoperail could be about a 1/2inch higher
Could come with a bipod mounted on it. Been trying to find one that will fit on it. Havent been able ta find one that will work on it.
This is a beast and shoots well. I'm still experimenting with ammo but I have shot it enough to know this is a powerful rifle that will group well. I previously purchased a Texan LSS CF in .50 caliber and this rifle seems to be another great one.
Like a lot of previous comments, a picatiny rail would be nice. An adapter is available. The stock adjustment could be longer. I had to add a pad.
This is a .308, not a .30. This rifle seems it may be a little finicky about what ammo it likes but that is part of the fun. Like all large calibers, this is an air hog so get set up for that. Also, expect great service from Airforce. I had a problem with the air guage and they resolved the issue beyond my expectations.
What Can I say this rifle is a beast! the quality and craftmanship is top notch and the service from Pyramid Air is A1 best place to buy all your PCP gear
Instructions on how to care for rifle should be in manual and more info on the power wheel adjustments but in my opinion I am very happy with this rifle and service all the way around

What I like: 1. It's accuracy..it's a very accurate airgun. 2. It's simplicity. 3. It's rugged heft and overall construction. 4. It's very nice trigger..very crisp.. 5. It's ability to shoot a variety of ammunition very well..I've shot home cast round balls and cast bullets. If properly sorted and sized, my home cast shoot very well in my airgun. 6. The wow factor..most folks at the range have never seen a bigbore airgun and are amazed at what it is and what it's capable of doing. They are often confused by the report when I send rounds downrange. Their typical reaction is often awe...and I find it amusing.
The length an weight may be a put-off to some..but it is what it is..I really have no complaints.
I bought the. 457 a few years ago when regular cartridge ammo was near impossible to find..figured I'd be able to cast and recycle my own ammo..which I have done..I bought the second in .308, because not every job requires a sledgehammer..the smaller caliber is still very fun to shoot..with the advantages of more shots per fill and greater ammo economy. All said, I am very pleased with both Texans.
