Real wood stock, realistic look of the original M14
Add a magazine clip to somewhat complete the look
Good quality
Looks and feels like the real deal. Wood stock.
Wish there was a dummy Magazine incorporated into the rifle.
I bought this to display. Being a 27 Army year vet that carried this rifle in the late 60's. I wanted to have one to display. A M1A is $1700+ and the Norinco clone is $600+ (if you can find one). This one @ the price is perfect for my needs. Additionally, I don't have to worry about securing it as it's not a registered firearm.
It just looks cool
Finish on wood, looks like a partially stained 2X6. Going to rub in some oil get it closer to dark walnut. I have an old Crosman M1 Carbine. Has a fake magazine that hold extra BBS and charge handle has a function. They could have taken some pointers on making a closer copy
Understand that it is a $200 pellet gun, not the original M1A, still pretty cool for what it is
Under lever cocking with the extension rod makes cocking somewhat easier. It was a bit stiff at the beginning but seemed to smooth out after the second and third rounds were put down range. Close to the actual weight of an original M14 which I fired in boot camp in 1969. Also the wood stock is a nice touch and has a real feel to the original weapon. Elevation and windage knobs are a real nice feature on the weapon.
Lighten up on the cocking effort to less than 35 pounds for us seasoned shooters. Perhaps a magazine well with a detachable magazine would be a nice feature. Also making it in a PCP or CO2 versions would be nice.
This airgun is a great replica of the original M1 and M14 only for a fourth of the cost. also since Springfield Arms is stamped on the gun it serves as an accurate representation of craftsmanship and quality. Great gun for the price.
As a USMC I had the M-14 this feels real
Better metal rear sights and fix the safety selector its backwards .
That the maker should design a mag like
the M-14 for storage for your favorite pellets
It looks and feels like the real M1A
Nothing
If your looking for a M1A this is the one to buy.
The realistic feel and weight. Looks just like a m1a.
Would like to see one in a co2 with a clip.
It's junk
All the plastic soft metal and poor machining.
They break just after arriving
This is my new favorite rifle! I own two real M1A's, which I love to shoot. While this rifle is not exactly the same look, the fact that it has a real walnut stock, the sights are great, the trigger is pretty good. I can hit a 4" steel plate, offhand, at 35 yards consistently,(if I do my part). It would be really great if sling mounts could be installed so as to not interfere with the lever to practice prone and sitting positions. Obviously practicing rapid fire strings is a no-go. But I am coming to feel like semi auto in air guns are over-rated and I am enjoying single shot better.
Sling mounts, tricky because the stock is thin up front, and it cant be in the center like the real deal because the underlever splits the center of the stock. It would be great to see a special limited edition version that used a steel receiver, and other more realistic parts. I would pay at least double for one that had a real flash hider (give's the signature M-14 ring when fired), steel receiver for authentic look, maybe high quality beefy internals to make it last longer - just a thought.
This is a really fun air gun to shoot. Especially if you enjoy service rifle, open sight shooting.

Good hefty plinking rifle with a great look.
Not easy finding an affordable scope mount, as it takes a specific one.
