First off, I own about 25 airguns now, but raised on the Daisy Powerline and the Crosman 2100, these were very impressive. I bought two .22 cals, one for each of my sons Christmas 2022. Put $120 scopes on each and sighted them in. Shot very rarely. Last week I put up a target with a nickel size dot at 22 yards and my 11 year old put a whole mag of JSB 14.35s in the red. Took it out a day or two later using my chrony and tested for FPE with the JSB 14.35s, 15.89s, 18.19s and 25.35s. In order, we got 17.57, 17.8, 18.4 and 20.0. It's always nice to have a gun outperform it's advertising. I have similar results with my other son's gun as far as accuracy, I just have not done the power test yet, but expect them to be very, very close. Both very easy to pump for the power you get.
My son saw one of the screws that fasten the forestock with the pumping arm fall out. As we put it back in we noticed that one of the three were gone. Probably fell out without us noticing. Kinda my fault, I should have checked them earlier, but they should be designed to not come out so easily. Easy fix with a $39 Dragonfly repair kit from PA. Trigger is a little stiff and has some creep for sure. A little TLC with some polishing should do fine. Not a bad trigger though.
Take out pumping arm screws, clean with alcohol and put some blue Loctite on them. BLUE not red. Spray a little Ballistol on pumping arm hinges and wipe off excess. This will smooth out pumping action significantly. Take some sand paper or dremel and smooth out the edges of the wooden forestock where your hand come in contact with it, out of the box, it's rather sharp. Just make sure to cover internals as not to get sawdust in places it shouldn't be. These guns are well worth the money IMO. To my surprise, with heavier pellets (25.35gr) they shoot as hard as my two Walther Parrus's and my two NP's. Pretty amazing being that they are so easy to pump.
Well this was my second one. I wanted the rifle to work so bad I got a replacement. It didn't work either. Thankfully this company has great customer service.
Quality control.
Gun shot only a few times before making a whining noise. After that no pressure. This was the replacement for the first one. I noticed the serial numbers were only 3 off from the first one I got so maybe it was a bad batch. Also a screw from the forearm was laying in the box. Finally, just got refund.

Strong , easy to load, easy to pump. Accurate out to 100 yards.
The rear sight elevation screw is too short. Replaced mine.
My favorite .22 cal. mult-pumper. Have had my wooden stock version for over 2 years. Just purchased a synthetic stock version for winter shooting.
very accurate. With added moderator whisper quiet.
Pump arm
Hinge pin in pump arm broke after a few months and makes the rifle useless. I have spoken to Pyramid and Air Arms various times to no avail. They sent some pins which were not correct and I have not gotten anywhere since. Really would liked to have written a good review but have been stuck with a paperweight. You would think this would have been a simple fix : (
Accuracy and pump
After about 20-30 shots gun would no longer fire or a delayed fire. Not just one gun but the second gun they sent also. So i purchased the Acsent gun very pleased so far
Solid feel. Pump action creates plenty of velocity and results in accuracy.
My entire trigger mechanism stopped functioning properly after about 20 to 30 shots. It would not expel the pellet and I was forced to trouble shoot just to get the gun to empty.
Pyramidair was responsive and understanding and offered me all sorts of options.
From the start, Pyramyd provide me with answers to all my questions and were great to work with. My Seneca was chosen because I wanted a multi-pump air rifle. Easy to adjust the sights, and very accurate for myself.
Heavy and stout construction. Crisp trigger break when it worked. Feels like a firearm rather than an air rifle.
When sighting in, trigger went dead at the 6th shot. A linkage mustve broke or separated. Zero support from Pyramyd Air. Called Air venturi and they were extremely helpful- walking me through a trouble shooting protocol but they stopped at removing the trigger. Advised sending it in for service at purchasers cost with manufacturer box or hardside case. Going to just return it and will go with another retailer for the replacement.
Zero support from Pyramyd Air. Reached out via email and their chat and no response. Save the manufacturer and shipping box until after your return period as theyre required for returns. I fully intended on keeping, but thankfully I saved the boxes
Threaded muzzle, scope rail, magazine compatible, easy pumping, nice ergonomics
Mags are a bit hoaky, and came with factory oil that gums up real quickly at 20 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. Fiber optic irons are a bit too fat for any real precision. If not running an optic, plan on a bullseye or 6 Oclock hold.
I got the itch for a multi pump air rifle. After finding myself a bit underwhelmed with the Crosman 362 I decided to give this one a try. Much better! An important note is most of my screws were loose. Particularly the pump arm and mechanism. They nearly fell out the first couple dozen shots. Check your screws right away, re-tighten with appropriate amount of loc-tite. Mags are a pain to load, not very durable, and freeze up easily. Though they are nice when they work. Could use a stronger magnet in the receiver to better secure mags or single shot tray. Single shot is a bit difficult to load with scope, but you can get the hang of it quickly. The low and consistent pumping effort ain't no joke. It keeps this little rifle fun. With a Bug Buster scope and a moderator, this gun is a backyard plinking champ. I'm not an uber precision guy, but I can say this rifle hangs with my much more expensive springers just fine. Maybe better due to ease of shooting. Great buy!
absolutly would recomend to anyone with shoulder problems ... i had my doubts , but the effort required is consistant up to the max pump range...
Only one small thing , the rear leaf sight is plastic and arrived broken , but pyramid was quik to send another at no cost... because i just couldnt bear to send the rifle back. If your scoping the rifle it wouldnt be a problem , but if your a open sight shooter , just be careful and i think you will get a lot of fun with this jewell.
although i have several pcp's , i like this pumper for the exercise i get ... but its not excessive.. if my 73 year old arms can handle it , you shouldnt have any trouble
The design is brilliant. Mine was very accurate.
The implementation is unfortunate. The pump action is flimsy and if you are a serious shooter you will be buying parts and maintaining it every thousand shots or so.
When mine flew apart while I was pumping it. I decided I didn't feel like fixing it again. I took the longer barrel and installed it on my Stormrider. That gave me a few shots more because the barrel is 4 inches longer. The problem with this rifle is the cheap implementation of a brilliant idea. I would pay upwards of $500.00 to have this design properly built. It would weigh more but it would hold up better. Oh well. Would I buy another? No. Am I glad I had the experience with the rifle? Yes.

love the concept of a powerful multi-pump air rifle very accurate for the price
pump arm needs to be re-designed, it broke after 200-250 shots at 15 pumps and haven’t been able to get it repaired for the last 3 months. would like to see a picatinny rail for scope mounting instead of the dovetail, but the dovetail does work really well
if anything break on this rifle, mainly the pump mechanism your out of luck. i’ve been waiting for over 3 months for replacement parts. i’ve attempted to fix it myself but it just keeps snap the bolt holding the butterfly pump together
